Alex Jones calls for immediate Trump impeachment
The Hill ^

Posted on 07/30/2026 9:52:31 AM PDT by USA-FRANCE

Alex Jones, the former owner of InfoWars, on Tuesday said President Trump must be impeached over the Iran conflict, describing the situation as “absolutely out of control” and warning that the administration is preparing for a national draft. “The big issue is how to stop Trump. And we have to have Congress go for the war powers. They’ve tried three times to vote on war powers — they’re supposed to authorize a war. This is a war; they’re getting the draft ready. If this isn’t a war, nothing’s a war. I mean, this is absolutely out of control,” Jones said during a live segment broadcast on the social platform X.

“What did we gain from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq?”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Afghanistan attacked America (911). America invoked NATOS’s article 5 and a NATO response was therefore organized.
U.S. military deaths: 2,461
Non-U.S. NATO military deaths: 1,160

That war was necessary, it was self-defense.

The error that was later made is that America decided to do nation-building.
Regime-changes yes. But nation-building... no.

I think one of the key problems in conservatism - heck, maybe I would even say politics generally across the spectrum.

Far, far too many people are just slaves to their confirmation bias.

They start from a myopic place of conspiracy theorizing and then fall prey to nutters who “make a good point”.

Then, it’s off to races — the nutty crazy person once said something that tickled you on a PodYouRumbletiktok.

So, so many examples of this. Candace Owens. Yeesh, it just depresses to make a list.

Think for yourself. Have principles. By all means, be skeptical of government: It’s a core conservative principle. But falling in love with loudmouth morons because they once - or twice or three times - said something like that makes you clap like a trained seal?

We nuked a country twice partly due to war fatigue.

Sheer speculation on my part, but I believe that Truman would have been impeached had the atomic bombs had not been deployed at the end of WWII.

My father was an 18YO sailor training for the land invasion of Japan in 1945. I was born in 1954, and I heard plenty of stories about the sacrifices the US endured to bring victory.

However, I could never draw any utterances from my mom regarding the internment of Japanese Americans. She lived near Portland, and went to school with a number of Japanese American kids. She had just turned 14 when Pearl Harbor occurred. The threat of the Japanese invading the West Coast was very real.

One of my mom's cousins called his mother from the SF naval base before leaving before parts unknown in the Pacific. She would not hear from him for over 3 years: no postcards, no letters, no phone calls, etc.

A hard lesson among many he has had to experience to fully appreciate the level of corruption (without and within) and that ethics/morality do not translate between cultures with equal measure.

Was that the global war of 60 million deaths and the 100s of millions maimed, wounded and homes and towns destroyed and so on war fatigue?

If Congress votes for a declaration of war against Iran, President Trump would have to order nuclear strikes against Iran until Iran surrendered unconditionally or no one in Iran was left to surrender unconditionally.

Failure to use nuclear weapons in a declared war would be grounds to be tried, convicted, and sentenced for treason.
