If paying $5/week more for gas would cause you real economic pain, you’ve got bigger problems than buying gas.
If you're driving a gas-guzzling SUV (like some of the huge tanks I see here in Los Angeles), you're paying way more than $5 a week.
I wish.. I burned 345 gallons of diesel fuel last week. that 2 dollar a gallon bump is real money (so is 5 bucks by the way) can I aford it? yes. Do I want to pay it? no. Will I suddenly catch a case of TDS and vote democrat? also no.
can you say that repulicans will enjoy the same sopport they did in 2024? No, at least not turthfully.
5 bucks may not be much to you and I. But for some 20 bucks a month is a lot of money.
