That graph is quite misleading: It needs adjustment for PPP.
It also completely fails to address the kind of war the various parties might fight. We are extremely “humanitarian” about it, and extraordinarily casualty averse, which, since we’ve dropped the ball on drones, costs a freaking s-—load.
