Thank you for posting this. Some are of the mind that it is impossible for this AI process of book assimilation could ever result in such destruction.
It is absolutely possible and reasonable to challenge such practices
I am sure if those who resent this destruction were to approach those companies consuming the books, and offer to pay for packing and shipping of the processed books to their own facilities that an arrangement could be made. As it is, maintaining the paper books is an unnecessary cost to the AI companies.
I destroyed all of my Peter Norton, "PC Secrets" books. Am I a sinner?
