This means the GA Secretary of State has the post-primary database at a certain state of update completed. Now is the time for those with energy to do the hard work of determining how many voters were registered by motor voter without their knowledge.
How many who refuse to register to vote for religious reasons, or because they are mad at all politicians are registered anyway... automatically by the software?
How many minors age 16-17 who went to get a drivers license and are now registered to vote?
How many non-citizens were registered when they went to get a drivers license?
How many movers, vacant houses, vacant lots?
How many Duplicates are registered in multiple places, or under 2 or more variations of their name?
And, of course How many are DEAD on LEGACY.COM but still registered to vote and the Secretary of State (or county) did not check if they were dead?
Each state has a process similar to this to check. Now is the time to check. Not after the election. It is the duty of those who are concerned to check. It is not the duty of those unconcerned to become concerned... altho it might be nice if they did become concerned.
Hint: It is suspicious in my condo assn.
I'm in Upstate NY. We get these before any election/primary...local or federal.
Who has the energy, the desire to check the GA voting rolls now, before the election. Hint, chose areas like nursing homes that have a high death rate. Chose areas where people move frequently, or that have many recently vacant houses/apartments/vacant lots.
You can get lists of registered voters from the GA Sec of State or from the county Elections & Registration Department.
Name, address, polling place, precinct, Registration number, Registration date.in GA.
In GA the registration date is the first date registered at any GA address many years prior...If the system tracks you from old address to new address... even if you did not register to vote at the new address but did register you to vote at a prior address.
And, of course, the above only applies to those it can track. I am known as both Robert and Bob. If I register as Robert one place and as Bob another place how does the system “know” I am the same person. If the system has my SSN under both names then it “knows”. But many times SSN is unknown, or only the last 4 digits and is not really “known”.
I get the same type of notice...like I said...
obituaries...
I don’t have the time. However, I have the skill. If you can arrange the data I can have AI find any suspicious actors.
We get them every other year in Texas.
Legacy.com. That would be an easy way to check. An army of volunteers is needed. Then go look to see if their social security checks are being cashed.
Dead are on the voter rolls. Dead are on the welfare rolls.
There is some overlap. But currently they are two separate things.
Rate of Dead on the rolls is mostly time based.
Many Deaths the past 7 days are not known.
Most Deaths more than 7 days are known.
(In a rare case a guy 55 puts his mom 85 in the basement freezer so he can continue to receive her SS payments to their joint bank account. She is not “known” dead.)
Databases are often cleaned on weekly, monthly, quarterly and other seasonal cycles. GA just hit a marker point in July after the May and June primaries. GA will hit another marker point (early October?) before the November election. Deaths are known, or unknown at or before the marker point.
There is an alertness for deaths since the last marker point. The assumption is often that all known deaths 3 or 4 marker points in the past have been detected. But this is not true for a variety of reasons.
Processing is uneven by County and state election agency. Some are technically more competent than others. Some are less diligent than others. Some have other priorities and just don’t get around to cleaning the database.
In IL I found that if the DEAD person voted in the primary, then the DEAD person was assumed alive and not removed for the November election. Likewise, if a vacant house or vacant lot voted in the primary then they couldn’t be removed for November. There are strange “proof of life” standards.
What is the standard in Fulton County GA? In your area? I do not know.
