Israel has been by far America's strongest ally in the Mid East since it was founded.
Right now I'd back Israel over our so called “allies” in NATO/Europe who've sucked in hundreds of billions (probably trillions) of US tax payer dollars over decades but then refused to lift a finger in the Iran war, even though Europe is far more dependent on oil from the Mid East than America is.
Why countries like Spain, UK etc wouldn't even let America fly America's fighter jets, bombers from US owned airports in their countries until very recently.
