End of the American Dream)—Does Iran have the ability to conduct 9/11-style attacks on U.S. soil? As you will see below, the Iranians are making all sorts of very serious threats and they are encouraging us to “prepare as many coffins as possible”. But most Americans do not take such threats seriously. They seem to believe that the war that is raging on the other side of the planet could never reach us. Unfortunately, the truth is that Iranian terror is a very potent threat. The Iranians used chemical weapons against protesters in January, I have documented that U.S. officials have known about their biological weapons program since the 1990s, and many believe that the Trump administration is greatly underestimating their nuclear capabilities. I am entirely convinced that they could potentially pull off a mass casualty event that would “cause national mourning in America”.
As I write this article, another night of bombing has begun in the Middle East.
The Iranians are never going to give President Trump what he wants, and Trump is getting very frustrated with them. ........................................
The Iranians know that asymmetric warfare is their best chance of emerging victorious from this conflict.
That is why they are holding the global economy hostage by shutting down the Strait of Hormuz.
On Wednesday, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf once again made it abundantly clear that Iran will never allow traffic to flow freely through the Strait of Hormuz like it did before the war…

I am happy to hear anyone, who has followed this war since 1979, express a different opinion.
Put a Bounty on every Iranian in the US
“If the war continues, we will carry out regret-inducing operations that will lead to national mourning in America.”
In before “no imminent threat” pronouncements.
The biggest supporter of terrorist groups and their terrorist attacks, is going to continue to help terrorists conduct terrorist attacks?
Nuke them from orbit, its the only way to be sure.
It could. There are enough MoFos in the republic.
They should go for it. Use chemicals.
That will be immediate authorization for limited nuclear strikes.
That will enable regime change, victory, as well as the destruction of the nuclear program.
Any large sporting event in the US would be their next target, I surmise....home grown or sleeper cells.
It would be interesting to know where things with Iran would be today, if the CIA hadn’t conducted a coup there in 1953.
Have’nt they threatened this since 1979?
gosh, maybe we should do something about these guys
No, every Muslim. These ferals are as thick as thieves in the US. Start with the burkas.
My view is that if Iran tries something like that, they should lose their 3 biggest cities. From orbit. Just to be really sure. Then take out one city a week until they really truly unconditionally surrender, and the IRGC formally request that a new Shah be put in place to lead a secular government. Say it. Say it like you mean it. Or keep losing cities. From orbit.
Time to end this...The right way...
“Division here in the US is only encouraging further death of American Citizens, and world conflict.”
Correct, and there are many supposed Trump conservatives who can’t stop manically jumping up and down protesting this war. Steve Bannon is one of the main ones.
They never give out their plan on how to manage a group of crazed mullahs with nukes bent on destroying the United States.
With today’s weapons, it is only a matter of time until those James Bond novels will become reality, where private evil corporations will have the same military capabilities as national governments and will seek to hold the world hostage.
Younger Americans don’t care. They have been taught to accept all cultures as equal and that America is not the best and has done evil things. You see it on tv every day where every group of guys has loafer wearing pansies and foreigners in it and they are all big buddies. The girls fall all over the foreigner cretins.
Then they are fed unlimited lattes and craft beer, sports and sports betting, social media and crappy music and movies to keep them stupid. All is good.
So... All they have left is suicide bombers... The good thing about fighting against martyr’s? Eventually they will run out of them.
“It would be interesting to know where things with Iran would be today, if the CIA hadn’t conducted a coup there in 1953.”
in a much better place probably.
I know two people born in Iran who now live in the U.S. One is a middle aged man, well educated, now an American citizen, productively employed in a technical field. The other is his mother, now very elderly.
This young man was a boy back when the Iran-Iraq war was underway. You will recall that Saddam Hussein was using chemical weapons against Iran (and his own people when need arose), and the mad mullahs had taken to rounding up children to charge in human wave assaults to clear Iraqi minefields preparatory to Iranian troops attacking.
The boy was of martyrdom age, at least in the eyes of the mullahs. His father was all in favor of the martyrdom career for his son, and the cash payment to himself that came with it. The mother had other ideas. She managed to slip the leash and get herself and her young son out of Iran. They eventually found their way to the U.S. They are, by the way, emphatically non-Muslim today.
Do you really want to put a bounty on their heads?
Some political refugees have legitimate cause. And some of them are the kind of people we should want to keep. Some of them would go home to reunite with family and friends if the situation ever changed back home. After 30 or 40 years in exile, those calculations are likely to change and the number who would return will dwindle. But we should be selective.
When it comes to the legitimate refugees, the question is spreading out the burden of hosting them. If they are uprooted by famine, war or natural disaster, the presumption is that they will return home when the situation begins to recover. By and large, they should get asylum in neighboring countries, and the international community should provide support for that. But if they have been uprooted by a revolutionary madness, returning home may never be an option.
Probably the most infamous case in American history was FDR turning away German Jews trying to escape Nazi Germany prior to the Second World War. A very high percentage of German Jews did get out, but many of them had a very hard time finding an escape route. Some fled to China and then fled again when the communists took over. Some got to South America. Some who were well connected, had money, and had professional credentials or who were distinguished in their fields made it out to Europe or the U.S., but the barriers to Jewish flight are a shameful chapter, and not just in the U.S. Prior to the war, the Nazis encouraged Jewish emigration, although they made it difficult for people to get their money out. The borders closed after the shooting started.
I have met a man who was one of the Vietnamese boat people, one of the few survivors in a small boat that drifted too close to a North Vietnamese controlled island in the dark and were machine gunned before they drifted out of range.
I’m also acquainted with a woman who, as a young child, was grabbed by her mother, loaded with a pack with as much food as they could carry, and survived a month trekking through the jungle, avoiding the roads, as they got out of Cambodia. Her mother had been tipped off in time; her father and most of the rest of her family were never seen again.
Don’t get me started on the refugees from Castro’s Cuba. I know several of them.
Then there’s a young woman from Afghanistan that I knew back in the day. She was in an elite graduate program at an elite U.S. university when the Taliban took control. Most of us have seen the pictures of Iranian women — I’m thinking of the University of Kabul pics — in the mid-1970’s, when even Afghanistan was joining the modern world. They are in western garb and studying towards serious careers. Then the holy warriors swept in, kicked women out of the universities, and put bags over their heads. The young gal with whom I was acquainted made a prudent decision not to go back, and she has made a very creditable career in the U.S. Send her back to a life of sex slavery and to serve as a brood mare to a ninth century knuckle dragger from the hill tribes? I don’t think so.
A lot of these refugees are every bit as anti-communist as freepers. And if they’re from the Islamic world, they’re anti-Muslim. Wanna talk about Lebanese Christians or Armenians? They’re usually our kind of people.
Be careful about the “send ‘em all back” or “put a bounty on their heads” talk.
