Bombing beat Imperial Japan, didn’t it.
But we have additional choices at the moment.
All of them better.
The president knows what he’s doing.

No, not really.
Japan was heavily bombed AFTER the IJN was on the bottom of the ocean, extensive Japanese holdings in the Pacific had been conquered (at considerable cost), and after Japan had sustained 2.5 million casualties in her armed forces.
Obviously the air campaign from March-August 1945 was something of a last straw, but saying "bombing beat Japan, didn't it" is an exaggeration.
