I’m not sure which was more exciting... Watching the paint dry on my fence, or watching Spain beat the country they colonized until the Nazi’s took over after world war 2.
For now... I’m going with the paint drying on my fence.
I was kinda rooting for Argentina for two reasons:
1. Their President is a friend of Trump and an anti-socialist. Spain on the other hand, has shown that it is no friend of the USA.
2. I was hoping to see Lionel Messi retire in a blaze of glory ( well, you can’t have everything ),

Well there have been a lot of Super Bowls that were just as anti-climactic.
The good thing about Spain, is that it’s Federalized, the states have a lot of autonomy from the government in Madrid.
Andalucia is much more conservative. Catalonia are basically Communists. And Madrid is fairly conservative relatively.
And hopefully that’s the end of the stupid hydration breaks.

President of Mexico was also there...Claudia Sheinbaum...Also Prime Minister of Spain...And King of Spain...
But, only President Trump and FIFA President were on the stage for the Spanish team raising the trophy...
I think both teams were polite towards President Trump...He handed out medals with other leaders...Calm down Trump critics on the left...There were other leaders on the stage with him...
Argentina is probably more pro-Trump although I'm sure you have a couple of players who's anti-Trump.
Spain wanted the moment to be about winning the championship and that's the way it should be.
Gee, how exciting? NOT!
