In another ruling the California Supreme Court ruled that Alan Dershowitz is quote “one ugly bas****,”
His lawyer is better than the old man is now, I would guess.
He still has attorney-client privilege.
“It is unclear what legal obligations stand in the way of his testimony. Dershowitz’s attorneys did not immediately respond to a request for comment.”
I suppose we’ll find out why sooner or later.
It won’t be so bad for Mr. Dershowitz, there’s probably a prison law library.
Quite possibly he cannot because the SDNY office put this in the immunity papers when they whitewashed the Epstein trials. The SDNY has been covering for commies and pedo for years. Nothing to do with Jews, all NYC power brokers who like little kids.
This would have been a voluntary interview, so the restriction on Dershowitz applies. He can testify if he’s subpoenaed because he’d be in contempt of court if he didn’t.
I was surprised that Dershowitz even offered to testify. Attorney client privilege extends beyond the client’s death. He really can’t speak about Epstein. In fact, he’s probably violated his oath many times on his writings, podcasts and interviews. How many times has he talked about advice he gave Epstein on his plea deal? Total grounds for discipline by the bar.. Of course he’s 87, rich and doesn’t give a hoot.
