I’ve never known house prices to go down here in upstate NY
My daughter in spokane just put her house on the market, and there was a bidding war, sold it the first day. It is a very nice house and I love having her nearby but she wants to move back to the country. she moved here when her husband died a few years ago (thanks to Fauci) .
Now she’s going 40 miles north. she has a few friends there who worked for her husband at the sheriff’s dept. House is two blocks from the river. safety first.
There was 2007-2012 (”The Great Recession”)...a 15% average home price drop in NY state:
