Trump Says "Deep State" Covered Up Chinese Interference in 2020 Election

DONALD TRUMP: America is back, and doing very well.

We still have a major challenge that must be urgently addressed because no country can be great without fair and honest elections. You have to trust your country because if there can be no trust, there can be no greatness. That's very simple. No trust, no greatness.

For many years, I have called for bold, swift and decisive action to protect the integrity of America’s elections.

Every American deserves to know that when they cast their vote, that vote will be counted accurately in a system—and that is to make that system secure—one where cheating and interference are not just difficult, but virtually impossible.

Unfortunately, the system we have today falls catastrophically short of that standard.

Tonight, I am announcing the immediate declassification and release of critical intelligence revealing shocking vulnerabilities in our election infrastructure.

This evidence shows that the election system we have dangerously exposes—and really exposes, like levels never thought possible—the hacking, exploitation and foreign interference.

Just as disturbingly, this vital information has for many years been covered up and hidden from you, the American people—our great and beautiful American people.

But that all changes right now.

The documents we will release, starting tonight, have been gathered by the White House Government Transparency Task Force—a great group of people—along with the staff of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, supported by our top intelligence agency chiefs, who have all personally reviewed the findings we are presenting this evening and fully confirmed their authenticity.

You can see these documents for yourself at WhiteHouse.gov. Go check it out.

Our purpose in disclosing this information is not to weaken confidence in elections, but to earn that confidence by confronting vulnerabilities and correcting them very, very quickly. And that’s what we are doing.

So arrest a few on charges. Let it go to trial, where evidence is produced, refuted, accepted, or dismissed. Let the process work in plain view.

“He was supposed to have drained the swamp. Why was there still a deep state.”

The deep state has been there for over half a century and you’re whining because he didn’t clean it up in 3-1/2 years when the entire apparatus was arrayed against him 24-7-365.

Wow. Just wow.

He's not wrong. This is why most republics that actually function are peopled predominantly by Christians. Because Christians have a fundamental devotion to the truth and to honesty, as well as a definition of love that wills the good of another before their own good.

Without that type of mentality among the vast bulk of the population, you can not have a real republic because everyone will cheat. You end up in a situation where whoever can cheat the best or the most outrageously will always win.

The Roman Republic lasted 482 years (509–27 BC), during which adult male Roman citizens voted for officials and laws, although the system heavily favored the wealthy elite.

Wait what? Chinese interference, like the Democrats weren’t perfectly able to cheat on their own?

To bad you never learned to be a loyal US citizen and patriot that loved your country but did learn how to be a industrial level alinsky style spinster.

The last 100 years or so of the Republic were hardly republican. Before that, Rome was a state with a few hundred thousand actual voters at most. Also, the morality embraced by the Romans during the early and middle republic was proto-Christian in that it valued order, obedience, honesty, self-sacrifice and loyalty. One could argue that this cultural framework is what made Christianity very attractive to traditional Romans--almost like it was ordained by Providence.

The president has to be careful naming names for legal reasons. Names have been named but fake news blacks it out.

The Roman Republic and the American Republic were similar in that both began with relatively small populations and territories before expanding into large, influential powers.

This place is amazing for generating dozens of reasons for inaction—and then criticizing us for sitting at home and doing nothing.

Great news! Inflation has been tamed and Iran has capitulated! The President is now free to focus on what really matters: rehashing a 6 year old election. Oh wait...

Seems to me that there might be about 2 reasons why the swamp has not been drained. Either many in the Deep State were not discovered(that’s hard to believe) or adequate punishment was not provided. Now, I would naturally think that almost anyone would have to admit that complete honesty in our election system is an absolute MUST & anyone not going along with that must be pushed VERY harshly. Perhaps punishment should extend well beyond what is currently provided for. I’m sure those receiving this very severe punishment would not agree with or vote for something like this, but I think it is nececessary if we are to have what is needed in the way of the election process. In the past, a process such as I am suggesting would have to pass a vote, but now it seems evident that this is not enough to provide the needed action.
