‘It Was a Trap’: Pizza Delivery Driver Allegedly Lured to Vacant Apartment and Killed, Teen Charged With Murder

hiladelphia teenager Sincere Camps was arrested on July 10, 2026, in connection with the death of a pizza delivery boy, Anshul Kuncha. He was shot and killed in the courtyard of Raymond Rosen Homes, located along the 2300 block of Edgley Street in North Philadelphia on June 5, 2026. Camps has been charged with murder and robbery.

The officers investigating the case said the delivery was ordered at a vacant apartment, and there was no one waiting to receive the order, leading them to suspect that it was a trap. Police said they found three pizza boxes in an untouched bag, but nothing was stolen. The victim’s family has raised questions about whether the murder was premeditated.

“This was not a random crime. My brother was sent to deliver a pizza to a decoy apartment, a vacant house, where nobody was waiting for him. It was a trap,” Tanvi Kuncha, the victim’s sister, said.

A Murder Trap
Investigators said Kuncha was shot once in the back of the head when he went to deliver the pizza at the vacant apartment. Investigators suspect that this might have been a murder trap, considering the location, time, and area that the suspect chose: an empty apartment in an isolated location after midnight.

Police also noted that nothing was stolen from the victim. When officers responded to the shooting call, they found the phone, wallet and chain intact. Camps was charged with robbery even after authorities determined that nothing was stolen.

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector, Scott Small, said, “All three spent shell casings were just a few inches away from where this victim was lying on the ground in the courtyard, which is an indication that the shooter or shooters were standing very, very close to the victim.”

Surveillance camera footage captured two people in dark clothing following Kuncha from his vehicle as he walked toward the vacant property. Investigators identified Camps, from Queens Village, as one of the individuals in the surveillance video.

Camps was arrested more than five weeks after the shooting. The second suspect seen in the footage has not been identified. No weapons were recovered at the scene. Camps was denied bail and remains in custody. He has been charged as an adult by authorities.

Victim Was Working Two Jobs
Kuncha was working full time as a data validation analyst at DataBank IMX, a Japanese multinational company. He also delivered pizza part time for Pete’s Pizza on Ridge Avenue. Kuncha was originally from India and moved to the U.S. for further studies.

His sister Tanvi revealed he did not want to move to the U.S., but the family persuaded him, believing it would offer him a better future.

“My brother was a joyful, happy person who would never even hurt a fly. The irony that this happened to him is really upsetting,” Tanvi said.

The man was productive. The boy should get the death penalty, but he’s too young for that, so life in prison.

We need to allow the death penalty for such teens.

Of course nothing was stolen. There wasn't anything to steal!

These retarded simians still think it's 1996 and pizza delivery drivers are rolling around with wads of cash. They do the same to Uber drivers. Rob and sometimes kill them and for what? EVERYTHING IS PAID FOR ON THE APP!!!

This dumbass didn't even bother stealing the pizzas.
