Abdul El-Sayed’s Father-in-Law Among Top Leaders of Muslim Brotherhood Org Linked to Terror Funding

Abdul El-Sayed’s father-in-law is a top donor to a super PAC supporting the left-wing Michigan Senate hopeful. He’s also a top donor to an Islamic organization identified by the federal government as a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood, the Free Beacon‘s Alana Goodman reports.

El-Sayed’s father-in-law, Jukaku Tayeb, has served on the Islamic Society of North America Founders Committee since at least 2007, according to the organization’s magazine, Islamic Horizons. That’s the same year the landmark terrorist financing case USA v. Holy Land FoundationThe ISNA and CAIR filed a motion challenging the unindicted co-conspirator label, by the way, but a federal judge ruled in 2009—while Jukaku served in leadership positions with both groups—that the Department of Justice had provided “ample evidence” linking them to Hamas. The Holy Land Foundation raised money for Hamas, for example, using a joint bank account with the ISNA, which deposited checks into the account that were “often made payable to ‘the Palestinian Mujahadeen,’ the original name for the Hamas military wing,” according to the ruling, which also cited a 1991 Muslim Brotherhood memo that described the ISNA as a member group and explained that the Muslim Brotherhood’s work in North America was aimed at “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”

Program on Extremism at George Washington University director Lorenzo Vidino said the ISNA “was historically, no question, an organization created … by the Muslim Brotherhood and fellow travelers from the Indian subcontinent as basically the Islamist organization in America.” He noted that Tayeb was involved with the group “when they were putting out some really nasty stuff.” “To be on the founding committee, this is the elders of the organization,” Vidino told the Free Beacon. began. The case culminated in the conviction of the organization’s founders for funneling $12 million to Hamas. During the trial, federal prosecutors named the ISNA as an unindicted co-conspirator and one of eight entities “who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood.” Tayeb also led another group named as an unindicted co-conspirator, the Council on American–Islamic Relations—he served as president of CAIR’s Michigan chapter from 2005 to 2010 and remains a board member of the group.

As El-Sayed rails against the influence of money in politics, particularly from AIPAC, Jukaku has poured $200,000 into a super PAC supporting his candidacy.

there ARE some peaceful Moslems who do not seek to slaughter or subjugate Christians, Jews, Hindus, and other people.

but the DemoNaziCommie party bosses seem to pick some of the very worst and most dangerous Islamicist terrorists or terrorist-enablers/supporters around.

That these Satanic savages exist is certainly no secret. That the DNC keeps nominating, supporting, enabling, and propagandizing for them....is the story worth investigating.

Follow the Money (Qatar, Saudi, SorozNazi, some far leftwing “ngo’s” .... for starters).

Following (and then cutting off) the flood of anti=American money.....would be a relatively quick way to cut the danger back, imho. Pursuing immigration and criminal enforcement channels at the same time..

we can (I believe, or at least hope) still win this one

Up to now I thought it best for us if he got the nomination-too far out left. After watching the primary debate one could come to the conclusion he’s too polished to get away with his lies and that democrats just might come to their senses about their socialist wing. Haley Stevens appears to be closing in on him and may win. We can hope that whoever wins will fracture the party. If she wins I can see hard lefties not showing up to vote.

The one about staying away when your enemies are fighting each other-this is a perfect example where we should arm both sides with rhetoric. Not a licensed physician? Call him a quack. I know nothing about her.

There are now many radical muslims in Michigan who will vote for this.

There are also potentially millions of fraudulent registered voters who invariably vote Democrat. Michigan is a mess.

The guy claims to be a physician and whatever else he describes himself as being, but much of it is under scrutiny. It appears that his being a physician is only his truth and not necessarily the whole truth.

WIKI

Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed (born October 31, 1984) is an American epidemiologist, politician, and former public health official and academic. He was the director of the Department of Health, Human, and Veterans Services of Wayne County, Michigan, from 2023 to 2025. A progressive Democrat, he was a candidate for governor of Michigan in the 2018 election. El-Sayed is running for the Democratic nomination in the 2026 United States Senate election in Michigan.

El-Sayed is a graduate of the University of Michigan and University of Oxford’s Oriel College, attending them on a full-tuition scholarship and a Rhodes Scholarship, respectively. He earned his MD at Columbia University. In his athletic career, he earned a full blue as captain of Oxford’s men’s lacrosse team.

El-Sayed was an assistant professor of epidemiology at Columbia University from 2014 to 2015. He was the executive director of the Detroit Health Department and Health Officer for the City of Detroit from 2015 to 2017.

Abdul El-Sayed was born in the Detroit metropolitan area to Egyptian immigrant parents. He grew up in the Detroit area with his father, Mohamed, and stepmother, Jacqueline, a native of Gratiot County, Michigan, both of whom are engineers. His father grew up in Alexandria, Egypt, and immigrated to the U.S. to study engineering at Wayne State University. His mother, Fatten Elkomy, is a nurse practitioner in Missouri.

El-Sayed graduated from Bloomfield Hills Andover High School, where he was a team captain for wrestling, football, and lacrosse, in 2003. He then attended the University of Michigan, where he majored in biology and political science and played on the men’s club lacrosse team. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree with highest distinction in 2007 and delivered that year’s commencement speech.

El-Sayed received a full-tuition scholarship to the University of Michigan Medical School, where he completed two years of medical school. There he led a student medical mission to Peru and founded a student organization that raised money and coordinated community service for a local free clinic. As a second-year medical student, he received a Rhodes Scholarship to attend Oriel College, Oxford, where he completed a PhD in public health in 2011. At Oxford, he earned a full blue as captain of the men’s lacrosse team. In 2014, he completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and was funded by a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans and the Medical Scientist Training Program. El-Sayed did not pursue a medical license, and instead went into public health epidemiology work.

On February 9, 2017, the Detroit News reported that El-Sayed would resign as health director to run for governor of Michigan in the 2018 Democratic Party primary. He officially announced his candidacy on February 25, 2017. El-Sayed was inspired to run for governor after the Flint water crisis, saying: “I watched as Governor Snyder and his team of accountants were cutting costs and cutting corners. Their inattention to communities ultimately poisoned thousands of children—and those children were the very ones that I was serving at the helm of the health department.

In September 2018, El-Sayed founded Southpaw Michigan, a political action committee, to help elect progressive candidates and support ballot initiatives in Michigan.

Since 2019, El-Sayed has hosted America Dissected with Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a podcast about politics and public health produced by Crooked Media.

In 2020, he served on the Joe Biden–Bernie Sanders Unity Task Force on healthcare.

On April 17, 2025, El-Sayed announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination in the 2026 United States Senate election in Michigan after incumbent Gary Peters announced he would not run for reelection.

“What we need right now is somebody who’s willing to take the fight directly to Trump and Musk, but then also knows how to rebuild a version of our federal government that better serves working people after the carnage that Musk and Trump are going to leave behind, and I think I offer that.

After Mallory McMorrow withdrew from the Democratic primary in July, news outlets called the race a choice between the party’s moderate, establishment-backed wing, represented by Haley Stevens, and its progressive wing, represented by El-Sayed.

El-Sayed is a progressive Democrat. He supports Medicare for All and co-wrote a book on the topic.

El-Sayed, Abdul; Johnson, Micah (2021). Medicare for All: A Citizen’s Guide. New York: Oxford University Press. ISBN 978-0-19-005662-9.

In 2018, El-Sayed supported repealing Michigan state laws that block local governments from levying a municipal sales tax or enacting rent control laws.

In August 2025, El-Sayed characterized Israel’s conduct in Gaza as genocide.

In July 2026, El-Sayed said, “The question of Israel’s existence is not a question. I’m not going to play this gotcha game about whether or not it has a right to exist.”

The Flint water crisis was mostly local. The city tried to go cheap by using river water rather than water from the lake. In reading the Wikipedia version of the crisis it appears everyone there seemed to be passing the buck while avoiding a solution. The left made every effort to put the most blame on republican governor Snyder as he could have done more. Apologized-something democrats would never do. El-Sayed ran with it in his run for governor in ‘18. He was 32 years old at the time and lost to Whitmer. This guy is an opportunist who can’t move up fast enough for his ambition.

When locals screw up-Think Katrina. Blue city locals knew what was going to happen and they blamed Bush who deferred to the them and their local ‘expertise’. If Trump was in office he would not have waited. He’d tell them to get the hell out beforehand. Alabama was hit just as hard but came out ok.

Looks like the democrats do not let a crisis go to waste. As for Al-Sayed this guy is too young to give up should he lose. Age 34 when he ran for gov. Born in Detroit so he sees himself as the Kenyan’s successor. A Stevens victory will nip him in the bud a second time. We shouldn’t gamble on Rogers beating him in November. He and his kind won’t go away and the left buys into the lies the same way they did with Obama and BJ.
