Infamous killer elephant stalks family — and murders four members 14 years apart: ‘Nowhere left for us to run’

He has a long memory.

A notorious rogue Nepalese elephant has stalked resident Shanichara Bote for years, killing four of his family members 14 years apart — including two even after they all moved miles away to try to escape the homicidal pachyderm.

Bote’s nightmare began in December 2012, when Dhurbe — an infamous killer elephant whose human death toll is now up to 25 — fatally trampled the man’s parents in the Nepalese town of Madi near Chitwan National Park, the Kathmandu Post said.

The grief-stricken son packed up and moved himself and the rest of his family to safety, setting up his new homestead nine miles away, across the Rapti River and to Jagatpur, the outlet reported.

It wasn’t far enough.

Earlier this month, Dhurbe tracked down the family and burst into their home, killing Bote’s daughter-in-law, Ashika Bote, 25, and his 4-year-old grandson, Bharat Bote.

“We believed that moving across the major rivers would keep us safe,” Bote told the Kathmandu Post. “But after all these years, the exact same elephant found us again, raided our home and took my daughter-in-law and my little grandson.

“There is nowhere left for us to run.”

The elephant has a long history of fatal misdeeds — he has reportedly killed more than two dozen people since 2010, park officials told the outlet.

why did they not dispatch that elephant 14 years ago?

They tried, but several obstacles arose. Tying him down to the gurney was impossible, they could not find a vein, and a liberal New York judge issued a worldwide injunction on the execution writing that it was specist.

When questioned, the elephant denied everything, saying: “lemme tell ya a couple of three things.....”

Is anyone else interested in knowing what that family did to piss off that elephant so much?

I’m not saying it shouldn’t be put down immediately, but this sounds like a classic revenge story.

Too bad this fellow's not available: W.D.M. “Karamojo” Bell: https://huntaddicted.com/karamojo-bell-and-a-1000-elephants/

Note: Bell killed over 1000 African elephants in the old days of the professional ivory hunters. Bell was noted for using smaller caliber rifles to accomplish rear, quartering, brain shots at very close range that instantly killed the elephants .

When it comes to elephants vs retarded Third World villagers, I’ll always cheer for the elephants.

Poor fella probably doesn’t want to live amongst these cretins anymore than we do, so he keeps doing his stompy dance on them.

Can’t blame the guy.

Clearly, some of these folks haven’t enabled the rogue elephant alerts on their smartphones.

At least you read the story to the end, unlike many of the other posts. My theory is that if 93 soldiers couldn’t kill him, besides lacking the right equipment they lacked the right skills, and were possibly cowering and running away if a killer like that looked ready to charge.

Nepal needs to import a skilled animal veterinarian team from Kenya, where elephants and other wild creatures are managed in Kenya’s large safari preserves, who can shoot the elephant with tranquilizer darts. Then when it is down, they can exsanguinate the beast and give it a peaceful death, in view of their religious feelings about elephants.

This would also be a hard thing to do if there is a herd nearby. Maybe they need to net it and haul it up with a helicopter to a human-safe location between the numbing and the ending.
