When you accept Christ, you are justified. However, part of the Christian life is repentance and leaving the old life behind, which is to my understanding sanctification.
My question is, as you study the Bible and are trying to align your life with the Bible, does that mean you should change denominations periodically as you find the church you are part of having doctrines that are not in line with the Bible and find a new church that reflects where you are in your current state of growth?
Roman Catholicism is not Jesus' own church no matter what they claim. Why would anyone put themselves under the authority of a corrupt, immoral hierarchy like it has had for the last almost two millennia?
And it's loaded with gay priests. It is not immune to then problems Catholics love to find fault with other denominations over.
As far as pleasing God, please provide the Scripture that tells us that going to confession or mass or praying the rosary is what pleases Him.
It'll please Catholics if you do that, but nowhere in Scripture does that tell us what pleases God.
Why do you need a church? Your beliefs are between you and God not a building and someone giving you their weekly opinion on what the Bible says.
It’s a book and says what it says.
sometimes it does mean changing churches
but you should eventually settle into one that will not be a perfect fit, but will be a good fit
