Don’t forget the Diamond Princess a cruise ship quarantined off Japan for 2 weeks very early in the pandemic. Of the 3712 people aboard, 712 (19%) became infected with Covid. Thirteen Covid patients died according to the WHO. Deaths equated to 1.8% of passengers who contracted Covid and only 0.3% of total passengers & crew. All of the Covid deaths were elderly people aged over 60 with the majority of those above age 70. The median age of the passengers was 69. The ship was literally a Petri dish for Covid infection - close quarters, elderly passengers, no treatment protocols and limited medical personnel.
At a time when doom panic was being fueled by government, the media and medical officials the hard data from this isolated “test” of a Covid rich environment proved the expected death rate would be very low, in line with a bad flu year. Based on this data there should never have been widespread shutdowns much less compulsory imposition of an unproven experimental vaccine.
We were told to trust the science. Yet the scientific data from the Diamond Princess was completely ignored by the scientists, the press, and the politicians.

You bring up something that, for me, really hits home. I am someone who worked with Petri dishes on daily basis at a certain point in my career. I always wondered why *The Science* didn’t examine that cruise ship. Blew my mind.
The Diamond Princess was a key data point early on. Didn’t believe anything the media & .gov said after that.
