Why can’t we have bigger expectations for all citizens, whatever their melanin level is. The sad part is that white guilt liberals will feed right in to this insanity so they can feel better about themselves.

Why condemn a generation of kids to economic failure by not teaching them proper English? That would be the certain outcome of this.

In Oakland, Kalifornia, there were teachers that wanted to get in on the extra $5,000 per year if you could claim you were bilingual.
The most common was English and Spanish. The people wanted the extra $$$, and said they were bilingual in English and Ebonics.
Ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat.
When slave owners divided Black labor into field hands and house servants it was rightly pointed out by abolitionist that it was a means of keeping slaves divided and making sure there most slaves would never be educated. Thereby creating a permanent underclass dependent on others.
But let a 21st Black Liberal endorse something that would basically have the same results, and suddenly keeping large segments of Blacks from bettering their lives is a strike “against harmful language hierarchies.”.

If you’re going to do that, then you should also teach them how to spell it exactly the way it sounds.
I’ve got a better idea. School should teach proper English. Don’t be so lazy. It isn’t that hard to speak without using obscenities in every sentence and axing people if they know what you are saying.

Plain speaking summation: we can’t get our children to learn and speak standard English (like every other group can) and so we want equal acceptance and recognition of our own patois.
