For those that missed it (didn’t start until midnight eastern)
851,000 shells world record
Last year in DC 20,000
I love the fact that they replaced “famous” music artists with the military band. So fitting and they were awesome. What a show! Trump knows how to do shyte right.
Excellent!
The very end was fantastic. Watching those people in military uniforms singing rock ‘n’ roll I must say was embarrassing. The weather- the ‘opening’ window that allowed the celebration to go on reminded me of that 4 hour window our troops’s had at Normandy. Those workers that did the fireworks. You couldn’t pay me enough to do that job. On one occasion in the 80’s one of those barges started blowing up. It was in Kobe, Japan. The newsreels showed all of those fellas jumping off into the water like it was the USS Lexington.

To each his own.
I bet if they weren’t in their uniforms, you’d have thought the performances were great. I thought they were awesome! Made me even prouder of our military than I already am!
Plus, I think it was a great recruiting tool. YMMV.
gag me with a spoon.
I loved it. The whole shebang from beginning to end.
I salute everyone who made this possible. President Trump. Our GREAT military. The stagehands and workers behind the scenes. The fireworks team. And all the patriots who attended in person or watched on video.
Proud to be an American.
The band sounded great and the singers were amazing. Absolutely loved it.
You, of course, are correct. DIRTY, as he frequently is, is 100% wrong. He’s siding with all those used-to-be or never-were singers and bands who refused to perform.
Embarrassing?
OMG, what were you watching?
That guitar player doing Guns N Rose’s was great. The lead belted out Sweet Child of Mine wonderfully.
Sign, Sealed, Delivered was awesome.
We loved it all.
I just watched it on a YouTube video.
Unbelievably spectacular. The music was lively. Those vocalist chicks in the military sure can belt it out.
So many young people!! There’s hope.
I had never heard that last song, but Googled it and it’s a Miley Cyrus song. It sounded good.
I’m sure those musicians would make a good cover band for those that are gone. Just wear long wigs and take off the uniforms. It may be music but it’s not art.
