As the country marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, a new ๐‚๐š๐ญ๐จ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ž survey lands like a gut punch: nearly half of all Americans โ€” ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ”% โ€” donโ€™t know what America 250 is actually celebrating. Among Gen Z, itโ€™s worse: ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ% couldnโ€™t say.

Laura Ingraham didnโ€™t hold back on air: โ€œ๐˜ž๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ตโ€™๐˜ด ๐˜จ๐˜ฐ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ด๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ญ๐˜ด?

The answer, judging by the numbers, is neither โ€” just a void where basic civics used to be. This is the anniversary of the single document that founded the country: the Itโ€™s not an obscure date. Itโ€™s the one every American child used to be able to name without blinking. A generation raised on ideology instead of history canโ€™t defend a country it was never taught to understand.

We need to start saying independence Day, not Fourth of July. We do not say December 25 or October 31, etc.. uninformed people might learn what the day is about if we always say Independence Day, no matter how many syllables it has.

"While thereโ€™s no denying how complicated the issue is, there is evidence that removing technology from classrooms altogether could offer an immediate boost."

That isn't the only thing that should be removed from classrooms.

We also need to remove the alphabet mafia garbage from our schools once and for all.

Keep in mind, 30% of Gen Z (if not more) weren't even born in America.

And they're not European immigrants either. They're Third World retards.

And their vote counts every bit as yours and mine does. And they're going to vote themselves our money.

I think we had a good 250 year run, but it might be time to look outside our beloved Constitution for solutions.

Never let anyone tell you “the schools are failing”.

They are operating exactly as designed, and very successfully.

EXCELLENT point. It is up to us to teach those who follow us.

Despite all of my education, I still havenโ€™t figured out why September 3, (as in September 3, 1783) isnโ€™t a national holiday.

Well, little be little we gave the Marxists control over all of our education establishment so what else should we expect?
Now we have a generation of mind controlled leftist zombies who are worse than Maoists, and more dangerous.

No surprise. Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt - ‘The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America’

The real question is * Why are Republicans attempting to destroy the Gen Z youth that survived the test? These same low lifes were part and partial of destroying the ‘Tea Party’

Guess what - at first one is upset that the left bought into the propaganda. Then you’re upset that the right has bought into the propaganda.

Personally and I speak for many ‘God bless’ the Gen Z conservatives that has seen through it all. There’s no doubt that they have some work to do but we’re called to guide them not destroy them. Our time, boomer time is so over and I’m grateful. We’re no different than the left, we bought into it. No more.

Make it a law that all cell phones must read allowed what each Historic national holiday is for on that day prior to use by the owner.

Not only have we let public schools indoctrinate our children, we also paid for it.

Honestly, I’m certain that teaching could be done better if we went to an education system in which people from the community with expertise in different areas (math / applied math, history, science, economics, writing, English, etc.) taught a few classes each.
