If you look at the list in post #88 of COS supporters, the name Rand Paul stands out, as does Ron DeSantis, Greg Abbot and Mike Huckabee.
Plus, former senators Santorum, DeMint and Coburn, along with several other Republican luminaries.
I'd assume those are the kinds of names which swayed Mark Levin's views on the subject.
To me, given our fractured politics, I see no chance of a productive Convention, and huge opportunities for further Leftist mischief.
One shudders to think if a Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsome, Nancy Pelosi, AOC, Ilhan Omar or Maxine Walters were helping to write new amendments, or a new US Constitution.
But, we can also look on the bright side, and someday our current disputes could be behind us, then proposals by Levin & others become the conservative "stake in the ground" for what we want to see from a Convention of the States.
Key point: as conservatives we are not necessarily opposed to amending the Constitution, but we do insist that any such changes happen via constitutionally sanctioned (meaning approved) methods.
The US Constitution can be legitimately unmade using the same processes which first made it.
