A strike: "You asked who they were.
Could you not figure out the answer ?"

No.
I fully understand using colorful political epithets against your opponents -- Democrats, after all, they constantly earn and well deserve it.
But I don't "get" how calling our political allies such names accomplishes anything other than splitting us into ever smaller and weaker minorities.

Pres. Trump presents Gen. Keane Medal of Freedom:

Look at one example from your list: Gen. Jack Keane is a retired 4-star whose Army career was all about war.
He is a defender of the nation, not a "war pig".

As head of ISW, he reliably represents the US military perspective on international events.
That is looking out for America's best interests from a military perspective, not "war pig".

For months now, Keane has said negotiations with Iran will likely fail and more US military actions there will be required.
Those are facts, and saying them doesn't make Keane or anyone else a "war pig".

Just yesterday, Pres. Trump told NATO partners in Turkey that the cease-fire with Iran was over and that US bombing will increase.
Does that make Trump a "war pig"?
No, because you have to look at Trump's actions as negotiations intended to eliminate Iran's threats to its neighbors, and to bring peace in the region.

How much US bombing that will require is up to Iranians, not Pres. Trump, much less retired 4-star Jack Keane.
