Donalds was elected to Congress in 2020. A man who missed 161 congressional votes? A congressman with virtually no meaningful legislative footprint? A politician whose public image appears exponentially larger than his measurable achievements? Then there are growing controversies and scrutiny surrounding entities tied to his wife’s business and political ecosystem, issues that critics argue directly contradict the polished “law and order” image being sold to voters.

On paper it would seem the speaker of the house fella would be the best choice. With Donald are we going for the flash like the democrats?
I judge a successful Congress on how many laws they repeal. Since the answer is 0, they suck.
Soon to be Governor Donalds.
Perhaps it’s a chance to demonstrate his executive chops for a future POTUS run. Same with Vivek.
I won't vote for DEI governor.
If you want to know what he's about:
Yeah, did Trump not know about Donald’s wife’s education consulting grift or did he not care?
It’s clear from some of Donalds’ campaign speeches that his wife is going to make more millions off of her questionable education consulting businesses once he’s Governor. Maybe she’ll consolidate them into one organization and call it “Fleece Florida Schools”?
Trump is against DEI until he isn’t and with BD he isn’t.
What you left out:
Fishback was a FAILED investment fund founder - his firm Greenlight Capital failed, he was ordered to pay $1.2 million and even had his Tesla Model Y repossessed, U.S. Marshals were authorized to seize his assets, including stock certificates and personal luxury items, as Fishback claimed he lacked the funds to pay the settlement.
Fishback also LIED about being a DOGE adviser - Musk himself denied it
Fishback was also fired from Broward County School District for an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17 year old, and has made Jew-hatred the centerpiece of his ridiculous "campaign" - despite having appeared as recently as 2 years ago in debates defending Israel.
Fishback is a despicable grifter, and it is a sad symbol of our times that he could even poll 1%. But then again the moron Shawn Ryan has the #5 podcast and Candace Owens #10.
Here is Donalds' voting percentage and other info, by year:
Election results and ideological data for Byron Donalds
He's been 96% or better in every year except 2024 (85%) and 2025 (91%). His lifetime conservative rating through 2025 is 97%.
There may be reasons not to like him, but this ignorant crap isn't one of them. Anyone who doesn't believe it can click the link above, and learn.
Sometimes I believe this country would be much better off with more like him in Congress.
How many of the 161 missed votes regard actual bills and amendments, as opposed to procedural trivia at committee level?
I guess those votes need to be scheduled around his gig at Fox News.
There has to be a happy medium. So in this sampling from 2024, Republicans missed 57% compared to Democrats 43%.

I know it means that in this sample, Democrats are casting more votes on issues than Republicans are, and that is not good. I had to smirk to myself that I even had to consider whether missing 161 congressional votes is over time in office for someone like him is a good or a bad thing.
That I even have to think deeper about that is not good, though one has to wonder what things someone like Donalds may or may not be voting on, or the obverse, what Democrats might or might not be voting on. On the surface it seems less than desirable.
But I did see that in January 2021, Donalds voted to object to the certification of electors from Arizona and Pennsylvania in the 2020 presidential election. How many of the pussies criticizing him on either side did that? So I don't have much of a problem here.
Also, I have heard him speak, and I like him.
This kind of makes sense. I don’t live in Florida, but I like the guy just because he’s on TV all the time. Maybe that’s because he’s not in Congress representing his district.
Probably wanted in on it for the endorsement...
Thanks for the link. It's a lot more informative than thes hit piece article.
And there is a reason Donalds missed votes in 2024.
AI says:
Donalds isn't like Scott. Your post is really retarded.
The Man Who Wasn’t There........................
Token
Whenever I hear they “missed votes” I have to ask myself, “What votes?”
A lot of votes in Congress are for things like naming Post Offices, and other “mundane” things. Did he miss the BBB vote? Those are the votes that really matter.
