A waterspout formed over a lake in Germany in a rare weather event that caused a stir in the area. The phenomenon was seen forming over Lake Constance near Lindau on Wednesday, German news agency DPA reported.

In ‘82 on the way from Sandiego to Sasebo on my Navy Ship, we hit a storm front and eventually 3 big ones like that surrounded us!! It was truly something to see!
Yes...when I was aboard the JFK in the Med back in the Seventies, I saw a trio of waterspouts all clustered together off our port bow many miles away! It was interesting to see.
I visited the Lake of Constance in the Summer of 1975 and had the opportunity to go out on the lake in a small boat. Bodensee as the Germans call it, is one of the most beautiful places in Germany.

It’s beautiful that the US is still in the World Cup, and Germany isn’t.
