TGP EXCLUSIVE: “It’s Not Political. It’s Just Science” – Greenwater Services Spox Explains How Their Company is Killing Algae in the Reflecting Pool as Democrats Lose It (VIDEO)

The algae in the Reflecting Pool has been almost completely removed despite liberal activists’ best efforts to impede the removal of algae and destroy the pool’s renovations.

Greenwater Services contracted in April by the Department of the Interior for the “procurement and installation of a Nano Bubble Filtration System designed to replace the existing, failing filtration infrastructure at the Reflecting Pool.”

The company has come under fire from left-wing media outlets, who claim a conflict of interest because a part-owner of the company is a GOP donor, and that the company has a lack of expertise in filtration systems.

During a recent appearance on CNN, Democratic strategist Ameshia Cross clashed with Scott Jennings over the project. Cross went off, attacking Trump over the algae in the stagnant Reflecting Pool and the choice of contractor, claiming that Trump “flushed our money down the drain.”

“This guy chose someone who didn’t even have a background in it, in the beautification he sought to begin with,” Cross said, crediting Trump for the Department of the Interior’s choice to hire Greenwater Services. “This is somebody who he knew personally because of his Mar-a-Lago connections, but not someone who was able to do exactly what anybody else– I worked at the EPA, knew that algae was going to come. You don’t necessarily have to be a science-minded person to know what was going to happen.”

The company, she said, is using "cutting-edge" ozone treatment technology, backed by research from Ohio State University and environmental journals, to pump ozone (O₃) "nano bubbles" throughout the water. "Those go throughout the whole water column, and as they burst, which is natural, it kills the algae, and then the sediment floats to the bottom, so it leaves behind crystal clear water with only oxygen as the byproduct," Kramer said.

When the nanobubbles burst, it kills the algae?

Not my field. I suppose it could be a true statement. But it sounds off.

Journalists have both a wide and deep misunderstanding of many things, guns and science to be sure, but also economics and cause/effect relationships and foreign policy and probably everything else as well.

Absolutely! That was my take, too. And, to top it off, she might have been a lowly admin or clerk.

"Worked at EPA" -- Big whoop. Put that in the "strikes against you" bucket.

What the technology does is we use an ozone treatment technology, so it takes regular o2, we turn it into o3, it gets pumped into the pool. That ozone there in the little nano-bubbles that you’ve probably heard about, because they’re nano bubbles, those go throughout the whole water column, and as they burst, which is natural, it kills the algae, and then the sediment floats to the bottom, so it leaves behind crystal clear water with only oxygen as the byproduct.

wait till the libs actually read the article...............ozone

...the company has a lack of expertise...

Commies say that about anyone who isn't them. Happens all the time.

I’m a low-end landlord. After evicting someone the house generally stinks. The cause can be smoking, pets, amazingly poor cleaning habits, mold, etc. I use an ozone generator. Seal off the house and leave it running on high for sometimes days. Ozone attaches to organic (stinky) compounds and breaks them down. After whatever amount of time required, air the house out and it smells, generally, much better.

I’ve used ozone in vehicles I’ve bought where someone smoked. It almost always does away with the odor. Results vary.

Ozone is O3, or a molecule containing 3 oxygen atoms.

I was in water treatment for 30+ years. We never used it because we were industrial level water treatment and Ozone would have been too expensive.

Ozone has a very short half life and can’t easily be stored, so it has to be generated on the spot. It is generated by use of electricity (several different methods). High electric usage.

We used Chlorine which is less expensive.

Ozone kills Algae and Bacteria because it is highly corrosive.

It’s benefit is that its by-products are all natural and biodegradable.

It’s draw backs are that it is expensive and the equipment doesn’t last long (at least the last time I looked in to it)

The Commies have been ‘trumped’ again. What they have done is draw attention to a revolutionary new technology that has been introduced into the swimming pool area now for the last handful of years. It’s likely used in the Mara Lago swimming pools. It gets rid of the caustic chlorine chemical treatment while ridding the pool of algae. The nano bubbles are infused into the water by a nano generator and the zillions of nano bubbles hang around in the water for a considerable time. They are attracted to the algae and when they do so they burst and oxidize, killing the algae. It truly is trumpian to take this break through technology into the reflecting pool.
