Scandal-scarred Rep. Ilhan Omar and her hubby have gone from the penthouse to the poorhouse.
The husband of the Minnesota “Squad” firebrand — who once valued his venture capital and wine empire at up to $30 million — now claims to be pocketing as little as $200 a year.
The embattled socialist claimed hubby Tim Mynett made no income last year from his main business, Rose Lake Capital, according to her newly released 2025 financial disclosure report.
The only money Mynett — who has nearly two decades of experience in DC — earned last year is a meager $200 to $1,000 from his defunct California-based wine business eStCru, which sold bottles such as “The Devil’s Lie” before going belly up in April.
Omar claimed the total value of the couple’s assets was between $20,000 and $125,000 for 2025, and their credit card and student-loan debt hovered between $30,000 and $100,000 — putting their net worth at negative-$80,000-$95,000, according to the report.
The head-scratching financial disclosure comes after the couple in 2024 reported sudden ballooning wealth — from close to nothing to between $5 million and $30 million — sparking intense public scrutiny.
That spurred a Congressional investigation into Omar’s finances, just as a massive social services fraud scheme involving the Somali community in her district was blowing up.
In response, Somalia-born Omar filed an amended 2024 financial disclosure in March, listing the value of Mynett’s ownership stakes in both businesses at zero. She chalked up the “discrepancy” on an accounting error.

Why would anyone believe anything on her financial disclosure form? Or anything else coming out of her mouth, literally or figuratively?
When are they going to turn her world upside down and thoroughly investigate this POS? She should be sitting in jail in Sudan.
Outhouse? Too good for this POS.
First of all, this is a Federal case, and, believe it or not, they have more than a few things they are working on. Second, good cases that don’t fall apart after indictment take time to build. Third, it isn’t just her - there are many if not dozens of serious criminals joined with her at the hip, and you want to chase down as many leads as you possibly can to cast as wide a net as you possibly can when you go to the Grand Jury. Why indict one or two when you can indict 20 or 30?
Plus, if you indict that many, you get a lot turning state’s witness making the convictions even easier.
Don’t forget, Walz and Ellison are tied up in this, and each of them has dozens more tied to their hips. This is a BIG case.
She thinks she’s above the law.....and you know what?....so far she is.
$200? That’s a shame. 🙄
Certainly true. Unless and until she’s indicted...
But I think the most important thing here, either way, is that she wears her Muslim identity on her sleeve. If she gets away with it all, other Muslims will see it as evidence that Allah is keeping “his word” to protect and promote Muslims. If she goes down hard, it is a blow to their faith because Allah’s promises were broken.
I say keep it alive. Let her shoot her mouth off.
The same is true in Iran. Sunnis are generally more rational. Shia see Iran failing as a failure of Allah or his promises. It is earth-shaking for them.
What’s leavebussed?
I wonder what else isn’t true
Well yeah they make just that much....on paper, for tax purposes.
Thanks for catching that.
No idea how that happened.....other than operator error. 😁
That statement covers pretty much all of Congress.
Taqqiya.
Typical lying Muslim filth.
Great points about casting a wide net. The problem is, is that she is probably destroying evidence on a daily basis. If not her, her husband, oops, I mean brother.
All the cash is now hidden in a Swiss Bank
It’s either sitting in storage units or in offshore accounts.
Cooking the books only cooks the chef.
