“All white girls are slags. They don’t obey Allah, so they deserve to be punished. They should be raped as punishment for not obeying Allah.” That was said to a Rotherham girl – now a doctor

2/ The report’s central finding, in its own words: the victims were “overwhelmingly White British,” abused by “predominantly Muslim Pakistani gangs.”
Around 87% of those convicted in group cases bore distinctively Muslim names. Far above their share of the population.

3/ A 12-year-old was raped in a graveyard and had a bottle forced inside her until it shattered.
She took herself to A&E. The glass was removed. She was discharged.
Nobody asked how a child came to have broken glass inside her.

4/ She told police, more than once, that grown men were having sex with her in cars. She told them she didn’t know what “consent” meant.
They recorded that she had consented. They logged her as a prostitute.
She was twelve.

5/ This was not a few rotten cases. The Inquiry found the same machine running in at least 149 local authority districts – close to 40% of every district in the UK.
One survivor estimates she was raped by six to seven hundred different men. She was a child throughout.

6/ The method was identical town to town. Befriended at 11 or 12. Drugged. Collected in taxis from school gates and care homes. Filmed for blackmail. Passed between men.
One survivor saw a van opened to reveal fifteen, twenty girls locked in dog cages.

7/ The contempt was said to their faces. Survivors were called “white trash,” “kuffar bitches,” “white whore.”
One child was told she was “possessed,” and that the rapes were to “get the badness out” of her.

7A/ Felicity was eight at her first assault. She was later put in a van with other girls, driven to nowhere, and made to watch a man stab a girl, beat her, and set her on fire. Towards the end, she was made to dig her own grave.
