I’m learning to never underestimate the sores of racial discontent.
have now written two essays in which the blacks introduced new social media trends to protest the Karmelo Anthony verdict. The first was where they would randomly attack and violently assault unwitting white people and accuse them of being involved with the “jury” or “jury selection.” The second involved them using AI to photoshop themselves into a picture of Austin Metcalf’s grave, making it look like they were urinating all over it. Now, for the third time in two weeks, they’ve got a new one, and this one is called the “Austin Bop”—it features them dancing to some unintelligible “rap” soundbite, and stabbing the air with kitchen knives, reenacting the stabbing of Austin Metcalf. Here are the lyrics, at least the ones I can make out:
Austin bop, knife had blood on the tip when he dropped
How the f–k he gon’ [?] niggas going out bad free my [Karme]lo out the box [?]
And, here they are in action: [Video at article link]
So we aren’t to judge anyone by the color of their skin—an obviously easy demand to meet—but are we allowed to judge them by the content of their character? Because I happen to despise “character” like this.
I am also learning to never underestimate the sores of racial discontent, a reference to Saul Alinsky’s instruction to “rub raw the sores of discontent” of what he called the “Have-Nots.” I hate to have to preempt racial discussions by acknowledging that I’m speaking in generalities and not on a case-by-case basis because that much should go without saying—but I’m saying it anyway. Yes I can recognize that blacks as a whole have been whipped into an anti-white fit of envy and hate

The left has been very successful in their cultural marxism.
This post on X is exactly what the people behind Karmelo Anthony wanted to happen for murdering Austin Metcalf.
They want a retrial to get him off really light.

The last name of the murderer at this link is “Anthony”. Hmmm
For much of the 60s and 70s it was about achieving equality. I think the majority of Americans were good with that.
Then the split began in the late 80s; at least when I really saw it begin.
And now the split has grown into a huge chasm which I do agree has been agitated by the Left.
Everyone keep in mind that this is not all blacks. There are black conservatives who you can read or see online who are appalled by this kind of behavior. There are blacks who support the rule of law and condemn the idea that black criminals should get let off the hook because they are black. Or that every time a black goes on trial, the black grievance circus starts up. So everyone should condemn this behavior. But we create toxicity in our own hearts if we dwell on this behavior. I’m not excusing it or trying to minimize it. But there are those in black society who reject this and want something better. I know a lot of black people and none of them do anything like this. I regularly watch certain black commentators and they condemn this behavior. Its good to have that pespective.
Is he saying nothing has changed in the ghetto.

Give ‘em a megaphone! Let ‘em reveal to history and all the world exactly what they are.
The problem is that the group of black people opposed to social violence may speak, but they have no voice. At least not a loud one.
Megaphones and microphones are denied them because their words don’t sell TV time or inspire “revolution”. Or get out the votes that seem to matter.
Unless they find a way to SHOUT. nothing will change.
Yea, late ‘80s. Before that we were all very chill with each other. Highschool and beyond. There’s a theory that violent rap music was created to incarcerate more blacks in the ‘90s. And they were more than willing to oblige.
I was witness to the "civil rights" movement. The "chasm" began at the beginning, as soon as White liberals burdened The White Man with guilt. Subsequently, Whites cared only about self-flagellation. It was a virtue signaling circus.
And we totally ignored the spoiled, narcissistic, corrupt demographic we were creating. Today's black man is the result.
That group suffers from many pathologies, physical and mental, so this is no surprise.
As always, they blame their failures on Whitey.
They also face being called "Uncle Tom" or some obscenity, and being attacked by members of the black culture for being disloyal to their race.
Everyone call me racist again. I’m fine with taking Scott Adams’ advice and staying the hell away from them.
Sick...but not unexpected.
you are correct, they don’t all have this mindset, but very few will say that out loud.
Why? If it’s wrong, it’s wrong.
