A lot of parents were bamboozled too, told lies such as “do you want a dead child or a trans child” and went along with it because the “experts” told them that it was the only thing that would save their child from suicide.

You and I know what “expert” opinion are are worth, but a lot of people still buy into it.

A nearly closed loop of God-denying self-important numbskulls came to power (the D faithful). So many of them with government jobs, and so many of them paid way more that their worth - so they conclude that they must be more equal than the rest of us. They are full of hubris and are quick to hate anyone who suggests their self-assigned lofty status or their delusional world view might have faults.

Those numbskulls polluted the culture and dragged any parent or child into their coven of God-denial that they could, by hook or by crook - bamboozled as you said.
