As we've been reporting, Freddy the German and his crew are here to go to the World Cup has certainly been having the road trip of a lifetime. He's fallen in love with America, showing us all the beautiful and fun places he's been visiting on his trip, and it's enjoyable watching him discover it all.
When last we left you, he was in Louisiana, making his way to Houston for Sunday's game, Germany vs. Curacao.

Freddy the German Tourist Has Some Surprising Experiences As His Journey Across America Continues
After seven days of driving, they finally made it to Texas.
He got a great view of Houston coming in at night.
Then he really made out. Former Houston Texans player JJ Watt found out about his trip, contacted him on X, and set him up with a snazzy place for the night. When they arrived, they also found Killen's barbecue and some very nice swag, with a nice welcome message from Watt.
Then, the next day came the game at NRG Stadium, the reason for being there.
They were rewarded with Germany winning, so, of course, they were very happy about that.
Dang, Americans are so nice:
They even got a tour of the biggest suite at the hotel, which had a panoramic view of the city (they weren't staying in this suite).
Freddy and the crew have a few more days in Texas. They'll take in another match, and then they're off to Oklahoma City for the Ella Langley concert.
Part of Freddy’s act is keeping his face unseen, apparently.
Maybe not being well known gets him more candid reactions from everyone he meets.
Does he ever post any commentary in German?
That may give his regional dialect away.

I get to have an endoscopy done at MDAnderson on Wednesday while Portugal is playing the Congo about two miles away, oh, joy.

Europe is pretty and boring. Everything is old, and getting older.
There are buildings in European cities that are still being used that are twice as old or older than the USA. They renovate the insides but keep the outside old to preserve the look.
The UK is a museum that people live in..............
