Recent Trends (as of mid-2026)
China-made EV output (Model 3/Y from Shanghai Gigafactory, including exports) has shown strong year-over-year (YoY) growth for seven consecutive months through May 2026. May hit 85,982 units (+39.4% YoY), the highest monthly figure of 2026 so far.
First 5 months of 2026: ~378,858 wholesale units (+29% YoY).
Q1 2026 wholesale: 213,398 units (+23.5% YoY), making up a large portion of Tesla's global deliveries.

On top of all that Tesla is building a massive new humanoid robots factory in Texas by far the biggest in America.
Plus new Tesla energy products which are selling even faster than EVs.
