Classic Newtonian phyics work just fine here on earth and in our meager solar system, but the model fails spectacularly for big stuff: galaxies, galaxy clusters, and expansion of the universe. Cosmologists introduced "dark matter" and "dark energy" as a fudge factor to describe physics that shouldn't be happening according to Newton. We currently have no explanation for these discrepancies.
A Nobel Prize and a million dollars is waiting for you if you can sort this out.
