Gain of function was outlawed in America. So doing it in other countries was the logical next choice. They simply must thin out the 65+ social security/Medicare liabilities

Yes, Wuhan was the exception to that history, and the illegal use of “gain of function” type experimentation should have gottn Fauci et al locked up.

This included facilities in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan and probably a few others.
This would not have included gain-of-function at that time because the tech didn't exist.
Whether it moved on to gain-of-function is unclear, and in any case both the movement of funds and researchers under Fauci show that almost all the GOF research in the US moved to China, especially Wuhan, after US restrictions were imposed under Obama.
Fauci and others basically laundered money through research grants to carry out GOF research in China. Monies were awarded to paper entities in the US that farmed out the work to China.

More B.S. Putin has plenty of his own biolabs and has even used bioweapons in direct attacks on individuals. Now doubt his has the same nerve agents in mass deliverable forms.
Like I said, what might have concerned Putin was what counter measures to his bioweapons were being developed, and of course Ukraine would be a likely target for them.
This was not just Fauci. This is the Deep State. WTF were they doing? Are we trying to develop biological weapons to defend ourselves or attack our enemies? Probably not. Does the Deep State have a plan to release biological agents for some unknown reason? Probably. As cynical as I am, this is shocking.
And even though I think this was broader than Fauci, it is move evidence of just how bad Fauci was. He did some really, really, really bad stuff. Biden tried to couch Fauci’s pardon as protecting him from political prosecution. But with all that has come out, no objective person could call a prosecution of Fauci political. The lunatics behind Covid were Americans who had been thrown out of laboratories here in the US because of the threat of a lab leak; China offered our lunatics a place to set up shop.
For all of your defense of the research done on these biolabs, at the end of the day, the evidence all seems to point at Covid being a creation of American lunatics. And with this, the evidence seems to support anyone having concerns about a biolab in a neighboring country that was put there by us.
