That’s never happening. Why would they term limit themselves? If the Founders wanted term limits, they’d have written them into the Constitution.

Besides, the real problem is the 2.6m strong Federal civil service, which sends 90% of its political cash to Democrats. Time to decertify Federal employee unions. Fortunately, Trump is working on that, one outpost at a time. But tenure limits on Federal employees might be a good thing. 12 year limits, after which they are forcibly returned to the private sector, because unlike Congress, we don’t get to vote for increasingly uncivil Federal employees.
