This has to be a gag - these people can’t be for real.
It's not stupidity so much as it is total denial of reality. They live in a Democrat/communist/liberal promulgated fantasy world where black people are perpetual victims of whitey hence black people bear no responsibility for their actions because the USA bees racis. Reality just intruded on their fantasy world and they are so deep into their perverse and inverted world view can't seem to accept reality. They are so locked into that fantasy world that facts (their thug son is a cold blooded murderer) don't register.
As far as coexistence goes their mindset is probably much harder to get alone with than stupidity.

Your post reminds me of a guy I used to know who worked in Australia for several years. He liked to tell Aussies that even though they spoke English, they still lived in a third world country. Said it was absolutely guaranteed to enrage them, every time.
