THIS is why the entire trial should have been televised. The lack of public transparency allows these people to create their own narrative. Thus, impugning the integrity of the evidence, prosecutors, witnesses, jury and ultimate verdict. If there was ever a trial that needed to be made public, this is the one.
The Metcalfs should sue the school district. They didn't even confiscate the knife?? My God...

I do not feel sorry for them one iota. They were hateful toward the family of Austin Metcalf and had the audacity to try to sell the plight of their thug spawn as a victim.

For accuracy, I should also point out that the knife incident did not actually harm his friend as the blade was deflected by the friend’s belt buckle.
My point here is not to disparage or defame Dr. Carson. It is to point out that there appears to be a violent cultural influence in Black society that can negatively impact even as highly intelligent and kindly individual as Dr. Carson.

Yeah, I never try to identify accents anymore, such as Scottish vs. Irish vs. whatever. They get all upset if you guess wrong, just as if it makes any difference.
I grew up as a military brat, and then served myself, and I realized that I had been exposed to so many different accents from around the USA that they all melded together in my head, and I couldn’t tell any of them apart (except “Southern”, and occasionally...”New York”)
I can generally tell Scottish from English, and English from Irish, etc.
But like you said, some don’t like it if you get it wrong...:)
