A controversial online fundraiser for Karmelo Anthony has been shut down after his family raised some `$630,000 for legal and living expenses now that he was convicted of murder — but his family may still be able to set up a new one.
The GiveSendGo went offline Wednesday afternoon, a day after 19-year-old Anthony was convicted in a Texas courtroom of killing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at an April 2025 high school track meet.
GiveSendGo – a crowd sourcing platform that differs from GoFundMe in that it allows fundraisers for criminal cases – confirmed the fundraiser closure in a statement to The Post.
But donations were still rolling after Anthony was convicted of first-degree murder — with more than $`4,000 in donations made in that time.
It remains unclear if Anthony and his family will receive that cash, as GiveSendGo typically makes fundraiser payouts three days after a donation is made.

That will mean some wealthy drug dealers in da hood.
You thought these walking monkeys were angry before😂😂😂
For anyone not aware, it has been opened season on White people for a while now....and especially White women.
My wife gets aggravated that I won’t let her go almost anywhere alone.....I don’t care...I will NOT allow her to be a target and victim because I wasn’t there.
With $600 k they should be able to afford something nice. Maybe a Maybach?
Keep a journal Karmelo, that is if the punk can read and write lol sucker
What is wrong with people?
I’m thinking of getting the skin procedure Downy Jr’s character did in Tropic Thunder, kill a white kid and get $650 K in a Fund Me.
Well you have every right to protect her.
No worries.
He will soon be forgotten - and his family will quickly burn through the money, if they haven’t already.
Not sure where the $3 million comes from but if you earn 7% on $3 million, that is $210,000 per year which is more than he would make in real life. Also he gets free room and board.
It's not a problem if you understand maffematics.
That assertion is not in dispute. Unless they receive more funding, they'll be broke after the appeals are filed.
Much has also been made of the racial makeup of the jury. Collin County is 50% white, and 10% black. The remaining 40% appears to be split between Hispanics and Indians (South Asians). Apparently during voir dire, not a single potential black juror stated they could be race neutral.
The protestors were assuredly not residents of Collin County, judging by their appearance. They were likely from South Dallas, bussed up for the protests. The NAACP rep was from Grand Prairie, as well. Frisco/McKinney/Collin County is an upscale area of North Texas, with McMansions galore.
Sounds like you’re going full retard...never go full retard...lol.
The family will get all of it. Deserving or not.
😅
Their lawyer isn't a public defender, he has his own practice. And the crowd funding account only raised about $625K, so I'm not sure they "got rich". The case was such a slam dunk, I don't think there was any way he was getting off. Well, maybe they could have done like in the prosecution of Kyle Rittenhouse, where the jury was tracked and publicly intimidated.
So there’s a lot of people who think the black murderer should be rewarded for killing a White man.
Over the past couple of years there has been a lot of chatter about GiveSendGo and GoFundMe money being donated to fund Karmelo.
Does anyone know if Karmelo or his family have ever received any of that donated money?

They took a large portion of the donated money and immediately rented a million dollar home and purchased high end Cadillac SUVs.
Makes you sick doesn’t it?
I have not been following the Karmelo Anthony story and these current news reports seem to imply GiveSendGo was going to return the money to the donors.
I was left confused. Thanks for clarifying.
