KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A woman from Kanawha County was arrested after investigators said she threatened to blow up a medical facility in South Charleston.
J’mece Naquis Young, 26, of Dunbar, is charged with threats of terrorist acts, conveying false information concerning terrorist acts and committing terrorist hoaxes.

J’mece Naquis Young, 26, of Dunbar, is charged with threats of terrorist acts, conveying false information concerning terrorist acts and committing terrorist hoaxes.(WVRJA) According to court records from Kanawha County, the incident happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, in the 4800 block of MacCorkle Avenue.
The complaint states that Young called, saying she needed an escort to the emergency room at nearby Thomas Memorial Hospital.
Law enforcement then received another call through Metro 911 about a disturbance at the same location where Young had called from. Employees said the caller threatened to come back and blow up the facility.
According to the complaint, employees said Young had entered the facility repeatedly and threatened to blow them up when they returned. The staff said they were afraid for their safety and that Young would harm them.
Young was taken to the South Central Regional Jail. Her bond is $25,000.
