Don’t laugh off Bernie Sanders’ communist AI-heist attempt — young voters are falling for it

Far-left politicians want to annihilate property rights — and a large share of young voters are buying into it.

That’s a red flag: Our school systems have become socialist indoctrination factories.

This week Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), a leftist agenda-setter, called on the federal government to confiscate half the value of the nation’s largest artificial intelligence companies.

He’s targeting OpenAI, Anthropic (creator of Claude) and xAI, for starters.

Making his announcement on Facebook and in a New York Times opinion essay, Sanders said he’ll introduce legislation to slap these companies with a 50% “ownership tax” — literally grabbing company stock without paying anything for it, in shocking defiance of the US Constitution.

That’s expropriating private property for government use, an idea straight out of Vladimir Lenin’s or Fidel Castro’s playbook.

His flimsy justification: “Since AI is built on the collective knowledge of humanity, the wealth it generates must benefit humanity.”

Sorry, senator — all inventions and breakthroughs are built on the knowledge that’s come before.

The same argument could rationalize demanding half the stock of a biotech company that produces a cancer cure, or a musical composer who writes a hit.

Who would invest or invent if the government could swoop in and take half?

Sanders’ bill is going nowhere while there’s a Republican majority in Congress — but ignore it at your peril.

It’s a warning: Outright confiscation is the left’s latest scheme to remedy inequality and pay for ever-expanding public benefits.

Sanders lifted the idea from two law professors, Jeremy Bearer-Friend of the George Washington University School of Law and Sarah Polcz of the University of California at Davis School of Law.

Lawyers, can you believe it?

The best way to enforce property rights is via the 25M AR-15’s in the USA today along with all the other legally owned firm arms.

Come and do something Bernie-klan.

Cloward-Piven, create social chaos so the government becomes the answer. What these nuts fail to consider is Americans are still willing to defend their freedoms…….

Young people are being led to believe AI is going to steal jobs they never had or will have. Some may be replaced but there will be millions more new jobs created. Sanders is human trash and will be dead soon. His replacements have even lower charisma than he does.

Communists are always opportunistic. They hopped on the Civil Rights train, and then wound up driving the train.

But why keep importing foreign white collar workers via the H-1B visa? That’s what I want to know.

The AI developers severely underestimate the murderous capacity of man.

So, um...AI started out as “Expert Systems” back in the ‘80s.

DoD put a lotta $$ in to it. All told, about $500B so far.

The early expert systems crap didn’t do much, so it went on the back burner for oh about 20Y, but it was still being funded. They call that “AI winter”.

But it all ramped up with the advent of better chips, software, networks etc. And of course the Google paper “Attention Is All You Need”.

So the taxpayers of the United States have essentially been asked to fund their own professional dispossession, supposedly for “defense”.

The proceeds of the AI revolution will disproportionately go to the top, while the Kulaks get vaporized.

So why not have some pay back to the taxpayers for their largesse? It was supposedly our “investment”. You can bet yur butt that Lockheed or SRI didn’t put up their own cash. Capitalism is kinda foreign to the MIC.

The sovereign wealth fund model is one idea. Bernie has his little fascist hybrid state ownership model. Somewhere north of “let Elon/Sam/Jensen/Dario/Larry take it all” there’s a compromise that returns real benefits to the citizenry that paid the friggin’ bills for it.

But Globalization means that the Elon/Sam/Jensen/Dario/Larry’s of the world can always take their business elsewhere.

The Big Chimona is right here, as long as the buck is the reserve currency.

They won’t be getting those fat multi-billion dollar contracts if they wanna offshore to Bangla-poopoo land.

Sooo...the gov gotta a lotta leverage. And just like Gavin the Slimy, they can send an exit bill to the truculent.

Musk says we gotta make it all nice by going to universal basic income. That won’t be enuff if AI really goes as far as he thinks it will. The riots will be too massive even for an Optimus 20 robot army put down.

'Young people are being led to believe AI is going to steal jobs they never had or will have. Some may be replaced but there will be millions more new jobs created. '

They believe that because the tech bros are telling them thats coming.

Musk: Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI.

Right now we have commie Bernie wanting to 'heist' AI while we have 'Fascist' Potus wanting to use your/mine Tax money to 'invest' into AI :

Trump to meet AI leaders to discuss US investment in their companies

Government should offer everyone a payment to get sterilized. The useless eaters would accept.

Wishing Bernie Sanders would just quit politics, sit down & shut up. He’s just a socialist troublemaker.
