Thousands of people attended the 24th Jerusalem Pride Parade on Thursday, in honor of Pride Month.
As part of the opening to the event, former prime minister Yair Lapid announced that in the first 100 days of the next government, they would pass a law ensuring that all couples in Israel would be equal.
"Mother and father, father and father, mother and mother, all will have the same rights, all will be equal before the law," he said.
"We stand here with the entire gay community today to say: The situation is not a given, reality is not a decree of fate," he added.
"We are masters of our own destiny. If this government has a problem with LGBT people, then this government should go home, because the community is not going anywhere. Happy Pride Month. I am proud to be here with you."
MK Gilad Kariv also attended the parade. In a post on X/Twitter, he mentioned that the previous year had set a new record for violent incidents against the LGBT community.
"We will not give up the right of every young man and woman, every man and woman in Israel, to feel safe, loved, and valued," he wrote.

600+ cities in the USA are celebrating Pride month with homosexual parades, homosexual meetups, and festivities. It’s the biggest and longest holiday in the USA. How many cities celebrate Christmas? How many celebrate Easter? Homosexuals are selected to adopt 7X more that heterosexual couples in all 50 states. Schools actively groom children into LGBT with 4,000 Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) are registered nationwide. Is Israel Homophobic?
Many parents are fighting back, it’s a constant battle. They are ramming this down our throats have we have complained on this forum about it for decades now. We don’t want this and it makes us barf every time we see it.
At least florida grew some and enforced a dress code so much that some of then canceled their parades. We need to force our police in every city to do the same. Have these people arrested for dress codes..or rather not dressing in public. I think what it is most conservatives just don’t attend so they don’t know how bad it really is until the see it on the news were it’s censored but still shocking.
As for our schools I doubt at this point they can be saved so just homeschool or private school your kid.
“Christian” TV sure does a good job of covering up the fact that in areas like abortion and LGBTQ+ “rights,” Israel differs little from the secular countries of the West.
I note this is partially a reason the “right” is turning against Israel, noting that Arab countries don’t do “Pride Month”.
He means redefine marriage not “marriage equality”. Anybody over the correct age is already free to marry anyone over the correct age of the opposite sex.

They launched the sexual revolution mind virus—and now they are suffering the “blow back”.
Big time.
There were a few good ideas but those ideas were overwhelmed by people who were more interested in agenda than reality and a life.
People should be able to use their talents but not be advanced for diversity, virtue signaling or to avoid attacks by agenda driven groups. And children do much better with mothers and fathers and where their development, nurture and passing on a moral grounding are the priority.
Sometimes there are situations where less than perfect arrangements are the best that can be made but...the practice of children created for or adopted by same sex parents has proved a very slippery slope.
Despite their repeated disappointing of God, He So He’ll never cease to have Israel as a nation before him. The promises to Abraham and to David were unconditional. They were not dependent upon Israel’s obedience.
So yeah. Secular Israel is a mess today. But they’re still God’s mess. Just like they’ve always been. Israel will again be carrying the freight in the Name of God. And I think it will be soon.
This is disobedience. We know what happened in the Bible when they disobeyed. God turned from them.
Liberalism is a disease that is spreading through the world.
Liberalism is the ‘chaos agent’ that will bring about the New Order.
That’s not how I see it. He punished them, brought a remnant through each time. But He did not turn from them nor abandon them. Do you not see from the Bible that Israel holds a special and permanent place with God? They abandon Him. But He doesn’t abandon them. Never will.
In this age, Israel doesn’t even have a relationship with God. But He maintains a relationship with them.
I guess my post must have been unclear.
I don’t support the Arab countries against Israel, but I criticize Israel about some things.
Nowhere in article did it say the Knesset was going to make same-sex mirage legal. I have no idea what homosexual Israelis are planning.
