The fact that the c-suite types at Wendy’s never thought to describe this a “happy hours” or “discount times” is amazing. It like they are trying to lose customers.
Yeah, that’s what kills me on this. Dynamic pricing has existed as long as I’ve been alive, they just push when it’s cheap, not expensive. If they really wanted their stuff to cost more in peak hours then raise the price, and introduce early bird specials, and happy hour, and late night specials, and people won’t even notice there’s only 4 hours a day when you’re charging full price.
