Round them up, put them in an appropriate container in a zoo. They’ll live longer and be out of the way. Poppy-seed-sized snails certainly wouldn’t take up too much room.

Sounds like another activist group just trying to raise a stink because they know legislation, debates, etc. can waste years of time. Most anybody can recognize this because that’s what these groups do all the time.
