There is something seriously wrong with a government, and its people, when they cannot count votes in what one would expect to be a reasonable time frame. What's a reasonable time frame? France, as an example, can say who won a presidential election by early morning of the next day, at the latest. In CA, as of right now, only about 58% of some estimated 8 million plus votes have been counted. And the LA primary for mayor? Still counting. I'll assume that this counting is not even by hand (as in France, I believe) but by "sophisticated" machines, and still, no complete results. Would it be any faster if hand counted?

I would not be surprised if it goes on for weeks. News outlets have said that matter-of-factly.
It takes time sometimes to make sure the Democrat wins, sometimes they have to fill out a bunch of ballots don’t ya know.....
Just following in the footsteps of their hero:
“Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything.”
-Josef Stalin
They (the democraps) will keep counting until they get the results they want!
Count until the right people win just like they usually do.
They're cheating.
You beat me. I was going to add that quote. I think though that Stalin was much more efficient than CA.
In 2024 the State of Florida had over 11 million votes cast, all the votes were counted, reported to the state and all the elections were certified and the winners announce before midnight on election day...
If any state takes longer than 24 hours to count the votes, they are cheating there is no other logical reason to justify to keep counting votes.
If we win quickly, you’ll get the result quickly.
If we win slowly, you’ll have to wait.
They won’t know how many ballots need to be “found” for a day or two.
Hey look... It’s another vote for Kamala... LOL
Yeah, I’ve seen similar reports, and I’ve noted an emphasis on when “all” the votes have been counted. What utter BS.
Always true, wherever their ilk can be found; no other way of winning.
Right. The thing that bugs me is that NO ONE in any position of authority is calling this out - why do we accept this?
“Dancing with the Stars” tv show counts and finalizes millions of votes within a few minutes to under an hour after voting closes.
While the online vote is tallied immediately, production typically uses a commercial break to calculate the final combined score of viewer votes and judges’ scores.——Reddit·r/dancingwiththestars
Generally, votes are cast during the live show and for a brief period shortly after the final competitive dance. Because the show utilizes online and text-based voting (with high-speed digital counting), the results are tabulated very fast, sometimes before the final commercial break.
ABC’s Standards and Practices department verifies the fan votes and judge scores before the live announcement. The final vote percentage is combined with the judges’ score percentage to determine who is eliminated.——— ABC Network
The Season 34 finale of Dancing with the Stars (Nov. 25, 2025) saw a record-breaking 72 million votes. This was more than double the previous year’s finale and represented the highest vote count in the show’s history. Throughout the entire 2025 season, over half a billion total votes were cast. -—— Variety
Seems like a reasonable benchmark to me...
Weeks to go before they get it. Makes Bush/gore Florida debacle look amateurish.
They’re cheating, and no one will stop them. I saw this for the last couple of decades I lived in California. I knew it was going to get worse when my wife and I went to vote *in a primary* prior to 2000. We both pulled out our Driver’s licenses to show ID. The people manning the precinct snapped at us, telling us to put our licenses away or leave the precinct. I knew then.
