The head of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary tells the BBC the force is "sorry for handcuffing and arresting Henry".

In an interview with the BBC's Lucy Manning, Chief Constable Alexis Boon says the bodycam footage of Henry Nowak being arrested and handcuffed after telling officers he had been stabbed was a "very difficult watch".

"What was filmed there is a tragedy, an absolute tragedy, you can't help but be affected by it."

He adds: "I really feel for the family of Henry at this time."

The chief constable says he understands "their point of view and why they're upset with the police", which he says is why the force have said "we are sorry for handcuffing and arresting Henry" at that time.

The police need to be shamed in private life everywhere they go. In stores, the pub, church.

> this is more about the culture than the one officer <

I’m not an expert on the British police. And I know that YouTube videos are cherry-picked. But there are a ton of videos there showing British cops using their discretion to intimidate and bully white Britishers.

As Protect noted, it sure looks like the whole structure is rotten.

Remember in the UK Parliament rules all. Parliament is utilimately to blame here! There is no division of authority. Police, Judiciary even the Monarchy are subordinate to Parliament.

Criminal charges need to be brought against the two police officers that arrived at the scene. Nothing less is acceptable. And Nowak’s family needs to sue the Police Department for every pound they can get.

How about... We are ‘sorry’ for not calling an ambulance... For not calling an ambulance to respond to an assault situation to begin with... An assault was called in and we didn’t call an ambulance, which in an assault incident is the first thing you should do... But we didn’t do that.

And we are also ‘sorry’ that our officers are too daft to deal with a stabbing incident and lacked any discernable knowledge of first aid and how to apply first aid. Something every police officer should be trained to do... Our daft officers obviously lacked that needed training.

I wonder if Derek Chauvin apologized if he could have avoided jail?

Naaah, of course not.

This “police chief constable” is an example of the putrid residue that rises to the surface after your genetic best has been lost forever from 1914-1945.

The correct word is "atrocity" and the cop who aid "No you aren't mate" deserves to be tried for manslaughter.

As an aside, why are police officers not trained in battlefield first aid? Keep the airway open, stop the bleeding, prevent shock.

No matter what they say, it's quite possible that Hanry would still be alive if he was immediately treated in the way.

They’ve already done that. That’s why this happened! Parliament required through “woke training” LEOs there to think whitey at fault first!

Again the Parliamentary requied enforcement culture did this!

Right.....Britain’s doctrine of “parliamentary sovereignty” creates the laws, provides funding,
and holds ministers accountable for the performance of those bodies.——— UK Parliament

It was a shocking display of l/e incompetence, hubris, wokeness, and a foreigner’s unmitigated malice and vengeful lies that ended the life of a young man.

It is clear evidence of a society and culture that has decided that it is not worthy of its own survival and that any other society and culture is more worthy than itself of the possession its homeland.

This is a society committing suicide.

Most of the ancient Western societies are in the midst of offing themselves by low birthrates and the unrestricted importation of those of other cultures and the suppression of their own culture.

Yes I agree, he should be fired, it was “very difficult to watch” but only now the public has seen it, he had no difficulty last December.

Heads should roll. All the cops are the screne should go but most were women so they will get a pass. He should go and his boss should go. Some politicians who got this whole policy should go.

Dear Chief,
You could have just said, "we are sorry", and left it there.
Then go jump in a lake, any lake.

Without the video becoming public, we would see no “sorry” and hear no apology.

People don’t blame their legislatures enough when they require LEOs or bureaucrats to do something stupid! Great gig for legislature toadies pass or require something idiotic someone else gets blamed!

Exactly, while rendering immediate aid might not have saved his life, we’ll never now. A decision by the officers not to check his medical condition is manslaughter at the minimum. Murder two depending on their rational. Possibley a hate crime as well.

Because her right guard was killing her.
