Wow. This story is moving fast. They've charged the family with various offenses. Didn't expect this.

What a nice bunch /s

This is the ass covering phase.

If they charge or even fire the cops involved I’ll be shocked.

Yes ... This was quick from them and all charges relating to weapons not the blatant lies.

Also, Mom should be deported?

@ZiaYusufUK

Henry Nowak’s murderer, Vickrum Digwa was assisted by his mother Kiran Kaur.

As Henry lay bleeding out, she hid the murder weapon.

She is an Indian national convicted of assisting an offender.

As Home Secretary in a Reform government I would deport her immediately.

Home Secretary is making a statement later to parliament no doubt there will be a lot of questions

They should be charged for the lies not weapons charges

Interesting how quickly this is happening

Hampshire Police have FINALLY deleted their post saying that their officers were ‘misled’ at the scene

Good, we’ve seen the footage. They wasn’t misled at all. They made a choice
And I hope they serve time, too

Your officers were told by Henry that he had been stabbed NINE times.... NINE!!💔
A witness said there was a stabbing

The officers were not ‘misled’, they chose to ignore Henry Nowak and took the word of the murderer
We’ve seen the bodycam footage, your post below is lies 😡😡 x.com/HantsPolice/st…

It wasn’t just Vickrum’s actions.
<><>Mom hid the knife.
<><>Brother called the police and lied,
<><>they advanced the lie saying Henry had “racially abused” them.

The family knew that Henry had been stabbed and covered up for the killer. They are ALL accessories to a murder. His family is complicit, they should be charged with manslaughter.

As did the police who let him die in their custody.

Sikh Federation attacks the prosecution for ‘massive blunder’ during trial

The Sikh Federation has criticized the Crown Prosecution Service for making a “massive blunder” during the trial of Vickrum Digwa.

It says the CPS should have made clear that the weapon used by Digwa during the murder was “not a kirpan” (a Sikh ceremonial knife) as it had been described throughout the trial.

In the UK, carrying a kirpan is legal, provided it is for religious reasons.

The Sikh Federation says the decision not to release the photograph of the murder weapon is “controversial” and adds to the “huge mistakes made by the police when they arrived on the scene”.

It says “politicians and commentators on the right who have made controversial statements based on incorrect information should have the decency to recognize the facts and stop attacking the Sikh identity”.

No, she should be punished under UK laws and then deported —> under British law she should be punished in the UK as this was a crime under British laws.

Furthermore, I think she would also be prosecuted under INDIAN laws for crimes committed abroad.

I just googled and saw that India exercises extra-territorial jurisdiction over its citizens under Section 4 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (and the updated Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, BNS) —> so if an Indian citizen commits an act abroad that constitutes a crime under Indian law, Indian courts possess the legal authority to prosecute them as if the crime had happened inside India.

so if the Brits don’t punish her, India will

from the article - , the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) launched an independent investigation. Something is happening.

The watchdog is explicitly investigating the officers’ initial contact with Henry Nowak, their decision to handcuff and arrest him while he was bleeding, and the adequacy of the first aid they provided

The IOPC investigation is expected to determine whether any individual officers will face formal disciplinary actions, gross misconduct charges, or procedural termination

Both the officers as one can see from teh video are white

I know they’re very nationalistic it might have something to do with giving the country a bad name.

Many Sikhs are making statements condemning him (for what this is worth)

Yep. This has nothing to do with getting justice for Henry Nowak. It has everything to do with tamping down the public outrage.

There is something weird and sick going on within the British police forces. We saw how they casually ignored the Muslim grooming gangs. And now how they treated Nowak.

Without a deep reform of the police, there will be many more Nowaks.
