You are correct about the state of how things “were” before February 2026. Unfortunately, we are having to address how things are NOW in June 2026. Resignations would only embolden the lunatics in Iran and make things exponentially worse.

If the people responsible for this fiasco are still in charge, then there’s nothing to “fix.”

Resignations would be the best lesson any political figure could learn from a situation like this. I’ve dealt with this type of scenario in the corporate world, and the resignation of the responsible person was considered non-negotiable.
