It’s not supposed to do that?
Not good.
Competition is good.
Too bad.
Yepper, that blowed up real good.
Unmanned hopefully
ouch!
Looked to me like the second stage exploded.
is this slop? I haven’t found corroboration.
I couldn’t find anything online but found this below. Launch is scheduled for June 4th.
Blue Origin Launch — NG‑4 / Amazon Leo (LN‑01)
Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket is set to launch its fourth mission (NG‑4) on June 4, 2026, from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida Yahoo+1. This will be the first time New Glenn carries satellites for Amazon’s Leo constellation (formerly Project Kuiper), marking a major milestone between the two Jeff Bezos‑founded companies GeekWire.
Mission Overview
Mission name: NG‑4 / LN‑01
Payload: 48 Amazon Leo broadband satellites — the largest single payload yet for New Glenn GeekWire+1
Destination: Low Earth Orbit (LEO)
Booster: “No, It’s Necessary” — a re‑used first stage from NG‑3, named after a line from Interstellar GeekWire+1
Significance: First New Glenn launch for Amazon; will be the fourth flight of the rocket and the first to deliver satellites for Amazon GeekWire.
Background & FAA Clearance
The NG‑4 launch follows a grounding after the NG‑3 mission on April 19, 2026, when a cryogenic leak froze a hydraulic line, causing a thrust anomaly in the second‑stage BE‑3U engine and placing the AST SpaceMobile BlueBird 7 satellite in an “off‑nominal” orbit Gizmodo+1.
The FAA cleared New Glenn for return to flight after Blue Origin implemented nine corrective actions Engadget. The NG‑4 mission is now on the FAA’s Operations Plan Advisory, with a launch window of 1:21 p.m. to 3:03 p.m. Eastern time (10:21 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PDT) Yahoo+1.
Amazon Leo Context
Amazon Leo currently has over 300 satellites in orbit, with thousands more planned over the next three years. New Glenn is one of four providers (alongside ULA, Arianespace, and Vulcan) for its 24 planned New Glenn launches GeekWire+1. This mission will set a record for the number of Leo satellites launched on a single rocket.

Launch is June 4th.
Maybe the video is old.
Fake, but nice-lookin’ fake.
NG’s upper stage failure a few months ago has been investigated by BO, the report was accepted by the gubmint, and the next launch is on.
I can’t find a single news story anywhere on this...
Lotta benjamins got torched right there.
Video is dated May 29th...tomorrow???
Hope Jeffy boy burns a ton of money on his play toys.
Anything I’ve found only shows that same short clip supposedly from NSF feed but if you go to NSF there is nothing on home or the forums about static fire pad explosion.
