Thune spoke directly with Paxton following Tuesday's runoff victory, marking the first reported contact between the two men since the bitter primary contest ended.

A person familiar with the conversation described the call as PRODUCTIVE.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, told reporters she was "supremely disappointed" by Trump's endorsement of Paxton over Cornyn.

“if they would have passed the SAVE Act”

Perhaps new United States Postal Service regulations are in order.

The USPS is not required under the Constitution to deliver ballots for federal elections to non-citizens.

The penalty for mailing a ballot via the USPS to a non-citizen shall be $1,000/ballot payable by the jurisdiction doing the mailing and $10 to $100 per ballot payable by responsible individual(s) for each mailing of such a ballot.

The penalty for undertaking the mailing over 1% of ballots, excluding no more than 10, within any 7-day period via the USPS to non-citizens shall be permanent barring of all non-USPS participants from government funded employment and benefits other than Social Security and Medicare derived from non-governmental employment.

USPS BALLOT MAIL-OUT REQUEST FORM

....

I certify under penalty of federal law that these ballots are addressed only to persons evidently believed with just cause to be citizens of the United States and that it would be just to hold me responsible and to penalize me for violating postal service laws and regulations intended to prevent non-citizens from receiving a ballot by mail for any federal election.

Scumbag. He stands above all others in the Senate. But unfortunately, only in height and bullsh*t.

Yeah, well if I lived in Maine I'd be "extremely disappointed" in having no choice but to vote for Murkowski because of the neo nazi communist POS the Dems put up against her.

Your disappointment would be of Susan Collins of Maine, who sad to say works harder to fleece federal funds for the feckless than even a Democrat would.

This is all about the fact that Paxton has consistently and openly insisted the 2020 election was stolen.. and that J6 was a Fed frame-up operation.

There are two types of Republicans; those who aided and abetted, or turned a blind eye to the decade long plot to destroy President Trump and MAGA, and those who bravely stood up against it and thus put targets on their own backs.

Paxton is one of the latter - Cornyn was one of the former - and it is great to see Paxton and other truth-tellers finally being vindicated, and types like Cornyn kicked to the curb.

The Republic can’t survive this onslaught of stolen elections, media whoredom, assassination culture - so this battle for the truth about what really happened over the last ten years is by far the most important one to win - more important even than the world economy or national security…

…because unless the truth prevails, the good guys will not remain in power long enough to apply sane policy and fix what’s broken.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was impeached by the Texas House of Representatives in May 2023 for allegations of abuse of office, bribery, obstruction of justice, and misapplying public resources.

But I will still vote for him. Because a commie is even worse

A. The Texas Senate didn’t convict him,
B. Many people on this site say the impeachment action was concocted. No more legitimate then Trump’s two impeachment actions.

so a vast right wing Republican conspiracy indicted him? and its nearly as imposible for the Senate to convict as passing a constitutional amendment. And means nothing.

But as I said. I will vote for him in november, while holding my nose. And I hope to God we dont lose this senate seat over this nonsense

There’s no need to sound like Hellary! There are competing factions in any party. Sometimes they’re competing for legitimate reasons like policy differences. Sometimes the reasons are personal, corrupt or both. Not a Texan i have no in depth knowledge also I can’t vote there. My long distance take on Paxton’s impeachment action is he angered the “Old Boys”. It might be for legitimate reasons and it might be for petty personal reasons. From my long distance optic it looks like both. Anyway the Senate didn’t think it was worth removing him.

He was acquitted. That means the charges were false.

You like that allegations equals “impeachment,” in your mind?

Anyone can assert false allegations. There is absolutely nothing to a false allegation, except people should serve jail time for submitting them.

What do you actually stand for? Evil?
