They had to wait until 9:01 Eastern to make the call because TX has a number of counties in Mountain time, where polls closed at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
I do think most Cornyn voters will go to Paxton, but a considerable number are likely to sit out the general election.
Not this year, but Ranked Choice Murky needs to be done.
Congratulations Senator Talarico.
RINO/Dem troll, much?
Seriously?
Are you in TX? No, you’re another plant poster.
I just saw this short little video about the
railroad commissioner for Texas.
Apparently, it has nothing to do with railroads.
It’s an oil and gas controlling position.
The MAGA guy is unseating the RINO.

Cornyn should resign and let Paxton be appointed by Abbott, thus getting a head start on the Class of 2027.
So far, Paxton has received a bit over 68% of the in-person voting today. My guess is Paxton will do just fine in November.
The problem we have here is that 20% or so of Republican voters will never vote for a MAGA candidate.
This means that to win, a MAGA Republican candidate needs to attract Independents and Democrats.
Donald Trump is very good at that. Most self-identified MAGA candidates aren’t.
You can bet your bottom dollar that there are a lot of Cornyn voters - 35% of the Republicans who voted in this primary - are not going to vote for Paxton.
This, together with rising levels of TDS among Democrats, means Talarico will be the next Senator from Texas.
Those are people that Paxton will have to win over as part of his campaign for the Senate election in November, it is time for the statewide Senate campaign now.
“36% Big John” Cornholio RINO votes will likely go straight to Paxton....no one’s gonna ‘sit out’ the general, Beave.
The problem we have here is that 20% or so of Republican voters will never vote for a MAGA candidate.
Well, you ARE in New Hampshire, “Jim”.
Stay in your lane.
Paxton by at least 10% in November, and I'm generally the pessimistic one around here (too many years living in California and their rigged voting system).
Wait! I just realized Menafee is also an incumbent!, he’s already worse than Al Green. Two democrat incumbents in a race due to redistricting.
Recall you previously reasoned and put forth the conclusion that Trump's name would not be on the ballot in '24, much less have a chance at winning.
In this case your reasoning and parameters are not being read correctly.
Paxton willl win, as talerico is a piece of shit, and most of Texas knows it.
He needs to be unseated from leadership role NOW.
For the bedwetters ...

You have no idea just how much fun that Paxton vs Talarico race is gonna be. :)
Dems are running a literal SUPER-DUPER WOKE FREAK.
IN TEXAS.
I am not kidding.
In a state where a Democrat has not won a statewide or federal race since I was THIRTY THREE YEARS OLD.
I am now SIXTY-TWO.
A Democrat hasn’t won a race for Texas Senate Seat in DC since 1988. 38 years ago.
But WATCH.
Watch the POLLSTERS and the FAKE NEWS MATRIX **pretend** that Talrarico has a shot.
Their JOB is to make you BELIEVE.

This includes FR trolls jobs, too!
“Seems unlikely, since many of them I’ve talked with see Paxton as super slime. They’ll stay home in Nov.”
I know right!! How will Paxton ever win a statewide election in Texas?!? It’s not like he’s done that before.
Bye bye Cornholio!
I bet they said Benito would beat Cruz.
That entire post ignores one thing. Rather it begs a question. If everything you say about TDS and never MAGA is true, then how did Trump win Texas?
