One woman was arrested for suspected property damage on Sunday in Moniteau County.
The California Police Department received a report of a woman damaging multiple flags and flag poles over Memorial Day weekend.
Witnesses claimed that the suspect, Cystal L. Badolato, was walking down Oak Street and destroying flags put out on display for the holiday.
A warrant issued for Badolato's arrest noted that the cost of damages is believed to exceed $750.
She was charged with First-Degree Property Damage and booked into the Moniteau County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

The above is from her Facebook page.
Locking her up and fining her 10k would probably shut her up.
No to all her points except the police did stop her for a time at least.
“the cost of damages is believed to exceed $750.”
That’s really not the point now is it.
Another shining gem from the “We need a return to civility” crowd.
There is no Moniteau County in California, nor is there any entity called the California Police Department. I am wondering about this story.

Where did you get California from? This took place in Missouri.
I guess you’re wrong...
there is a place in MO called california. Also in PA
i think the point was to get her on a felony
It’s the City of California, Mo.
Because it is California MO.
Badly written article.
Nice of her to add to her rap sheet.
Meth head?
Believe it or not, there’s a town named ‘California’ in the state of Missouri. Missouri also has a Humansville and a Frankenstein.
Those same points raised alarms for me too.
After reading further comments, I now understand. Original posters should make these things clear in the titles, ie; add “(California County, Missouri)” to the headline.
Just added it. Do I have to do everything around here?
Good on ya, mate. ;)
